Staying hydrated on a long flight?

As far as I know, the restrictions on carry-on liquids are still in effect. If so, what are my options as far as making sure I stay properly hydrated on a three to five hour plane trip?

You can take drinks on the plane...if you buy them AFTER the security checkpoint.....and you can also ask the flight attendants for something to drink....

I bring an empty water bottle and fill it up once I get through security. Once that is gone you can get water from the flight attendant. It also helps if you drink water before you get on the plane and avoid things that dehydrate you like coffee and alcohol.

You can purchase drinks after going through security checkpoints to bring on the aircraft with you, and also you can get plenty of water from your flight attendants while on the aircraft.

Check the link below, it has all the current rules and restrictions. You ARE allowed to purchase liquids to bring on-board AFTER you have passed the security checkpoint.

If you are departing in/from the US, you can purchase water (and take it on the plane) after going through security.

If you are departing from a different country's airport with stronger security policies--Frankfurt does not allow carried-on water--hydrate really well before you get on the plane, then get bottled water from the attendant.

I wouldn't recommend drinking the plane's water supply.

ask from the cabin crew whatever drink you whan to have. 3 to 5 hours of flying time is not that long.
