1. Yup!!

2. Bring magazines! Ipod! Books! Gameboy! Anything to keep you occupied. I hate long plane rides, so i stock up. You can put movies or TV shows on your Ipod too! So that way you can kill some time watching something you like, if you have a video ipod.

3. Ive actually never had it, but i assume itd probably be like school food? Probably not too good. Bring lots of snacks!

4. You can start a a few days to a week before you go. Pretend you are in the other time zone, go to bed the time you want to in the other time zone, and wake up. That way when you get there, you are used to it already. Unless, its a very severe time change, then im not sure. :(

5. Pretty much what i said above. Id play the sims on my laptop until it died. Then id atch a movie on my Ipod until it died, then id read. Id actually probably end up falling asleep though, esp if my plane left at midnight.

6. Same. :)

1. Yes they do allow iPods, Game boys, ect. to be used on the plane. Just sometimes they will ask to turn of all electronic devices (this is usually during takoff and landing)
2. You could bring a good book, and sometimes the movies are good! And trust me they will probably show a few for a 15 hour plane ride, and electronic games can be fun.
3. Airplaane food is not to good. Try to get some food when your in the airport and bring it on once your past security.
4.To get used to the time zone just go to sleep when you usually do where you live even if its daylight! That might be hard so just figure out the time difference and go to bed at the right time!
5. Do the usual on economy be bored and intertain yourself
6. On the way back pretty much just do the same thing that you did on the plane ride there.
Hope I helped! Enjoy your trip :)

1. Yes, they don allow Ipods, gameboys etc on the plane. You just cant use it and all electronics have to be off when the plane is taking off and landing. I went on a trip recently and i was able to bring my ipod.

2. Bring your laptop, movies, your favorite books, magazines and anything else you got. If you got a DS lite or PSP, bring that too. Your goal is to keep yourself occupied as long as you can while your on the plane.

3. I think airplane food is so-so. sometimes they would have something good, and sometimes its just blah!

4. When you get to your destination and after you put your stuff in your hotel room, go take a walk outside. doesnt have to be far (i think around the hotel is good enough) The thing with this is that you want to get your "internal clock" exposed to the local time, so that you would have an easier time adjusting to the local time. Also, do that when you get back. If you get to your destination and its daytime (or evening) dont sleep right away (even if you really want to) instead, go outside and do stuff. Go to sleep when its night time over there.

5. If i were on a 15 hour plane trip, i would bring my laptop, ipod, DVDs, books and magazines. I might even sleep on the plane. I would be watching my dvds, then reading and listening to my music.

6. I would probably be doing what i said in #5 on my way back.

andy
yes they do, you just have to wait 10 minutes after takeoff, and turn em off 10 minutes before landing.

bring a sketchpad, i doodle snowbaord graphics cause im really into snowbaording. or write all your friends letters (that way you can spend the rest of the vacation looking for a mailbox). or if you have one, bring a laptop and play a videogame, label all your music and pictures and sort them all into folders, then make a list of music youll want to get once you have an internet connection

its not horrible, just dont get fish. always get what you think they would have a harder time messing up. its ok though

dont bother! your on vacation! it doesnt matter what time it is, im on a schedule now where i got to bed at 5am and wake up at 1230. nah but the best way to do it is just force it on yourself, youll b regular in 2 days

always watch the inflight movies, cause even if they suck royally, they do kill 2 hours. at least its SOMETHING. other then that i buy a new chuck palahniuk book(guy who wrote fight club). id suggest either RANT or invisible monsters. or haunted if you like really dark and gross books, or choke if you dont mind a lot of sexual content

on the way back, youll be very very timred from sleeping in hotels, and walking everywhere, and just cause vacations wear u out. so youll be able to sleep. stay awake and watch as many of the lame movies as you can, and youll b out like a light.

1 Yes, you can use all that stuff, not during takeoff or landing

2 Read, or take some sleeping pills.

3 Bring your own food. They will provide beverages. Breakfast was ok, a bagel, some cheese and an apple.

4. Drink coffee to stay awake if you get there in the morning, or take pills to get yourself to sleep if it is night.

5. I read alot, made friends with people, and drank alcohol.

6. What? You need to do different things on the way back!?!

1. yes, just not during take off and landing.

2. make friends with someone near you and/or get up and walk around frequently (i have the same problem). music and reading are good too.

3. its alright as long as you stick to safe food. i.e. don't try the fish. i'd still recommend bringing your own..

4. sleeping pills help. if thats not your cup of tea. go to bed early (or stay up late) your first night there to get your sleep schedule on track.

5. talk to people, listen to music, watch the movies, walk around, do work if i had any..

6. the same. only hopefully have more to talk about after a sweet trip!

1.yes but you have to wait to turn them on when they tell you to [after the plane reaches the right altitude]
2.Listen to music, talk to others around you.
3.Expensive and gross. I paid $4 for about 6 chips and a tiny cup of salsa. It was warm. and disgusting.
4.It takes a day or two to get used to the time zone.
5.I would sleep, talk to other people, and listen to music.
6.Same

1. Most airlines are allowing electronic goods but they'd still prefer you to use their gear on the plane.
2. Fidget and go to the bathroom a lot, it's not the world's most exciting pastime but at least you get away from the lardass in seat F.
3. Airplane food is tasteless texture. They try to tell you that it's your taste bids are less sensitive at altitude but I don't think my next door neighbors dogs would eat the stuff unless they were desperate.
4. Set your watch to the time zone you are going to. It helps, a little.
5. You can't sleep, too much racket, you get fed up of the entertainment console after the first 4 hrs. Reading is a pain cos you just get into the book and then the guy in seat F wants to go to the bathroom.
6. OMG, where do I get a stash of class A drugs?...........

1. yes
2. see question 1
3. is good usually
4. do exactly what you'd do at home at that time. might be rough the first day!!
5.id sleep but you say you cant so......seequestion 1 again
6. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Airplane food is allot better than it used to be, especially on long flights. Most electronic devises are allowed after take-off and just prior to landing, but I would bring a good book. I am 6'3" and sitting in economy for 15 hours would be hard. If you can afford it, upgrade to business, or first class. A few drinks and a long nap is always a nice way to pass the time!
