The 3rd airplane accident in Indonesia, all three were Boeing 737?

There have been 3 separate accident/incident involving Boeing 737 in Indonesia this year:
-Adam Air Flight 574 (Boeing 737-400)
-Adam Air Flight 172 (Boeing 737-300)
-Garuda Indonesia Flight 200 (Boeing 737-400)

What's wrong with this type of plane?
Would Boeing retract all their planes and have them checked?
How would this affect the company?

The plane is fine. It's the quality of the crews and lack of maintenence

northmiamibeach1975
Do you know that the 737 is the bestseller of all airplanes in the world???
The problem here is not the airplane, the problem is maintenance, and pilot training.
American Airlines, Delta, Continental, southwest, ANA, Qantas, British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, AeroMexico,Aerolineas Argentinas,Varig, Gol,LAN,El Al,Thai,China Airlines, Korean Air,KLM, SAS, Icelandair,United Airlines, Ryanair, and many, many more are flying the 737 right now, at this moment!!!

The 737 is now so widely used that at any given time, there are over 1,250 airborne worldwide. On average, one takes off or lands every five seconds.

Mr Smart
Not a thing wrong with a Boeing 737, many airlines have them and operate them safely.

Boeing always cooperates with the various government aviation safety organizations, and makes changes as needed to improve air travel safety.

It will probably affect the airline(s) more than Boeing, since the aircraft maintenance, and/or pilot error is usually the reason for aircraft accidents.

they wouldnt call back there airplanes because that would cost alot of money to do. the last delivery of this type of airplane was on 2/25/00 and the first was in 1988 so these airplanes are old. so it is not there fault that these aircraft have crashed. it is most likly the fault of the airlines and how they fix their aircraft. or it could be a piolet error which that means that it isnt the aircrafts fault. there is nothing wrong with this type of aircraft, this type of aircraft is the best selling aircraft in the hiostory of aviation, it is safe and reliable and nopt the boeings fault for the crashes seeing as how the airline would of had to hasd these aircraft for atleast seven years or more so before you think it is the compnay look at the airline.

could be the maintenance they do...seems more reason to look into that versues faulty aircraft...the aircraft has been tried and trued after serving so long...i would look into poor maintenance before i jumped onto another bandwagon

Brieanne C
Many airlines use them and have no problems. There is nothing wrong with the 737.

The 737-400 and 737-300 are older models so my guess is it's poor maintenance that caused the crashes.

It's maintience on the airlines part i think.the 737 is a very reliable plane, and has had many updates to make it even safer..But Isn't this the aircraft that had trouble with the rear rudder sticking and rolling the plane into the ground due to a hydraulic pump having the main unit and backup on one piston?I could be wrong but i thought i heard that.. to be honest for saftey reasons i will not fly many smaller airlines from areas like this. And it could be due to pilot training in special instances relating to the 737?
why not look at the incidents related to the airlines?
just a idea..

Starlet
yup, most of them are 737-400 and 737-300, older type as old as my grandma... I think itz totally human error...
