Air Kuwait (KU101-2, bedamned) was £179 a couple of years ago - also Air India is good.

You can try two airlines that fly cheaply to NYC, they are usually about £199, these airlines are Air India and Iceland Air (via Iceland), recently Delta were offering a return flight to New York for a bargain price of £160, I was made aware of this from my contacts at Flight Centre (0207 836 9502), this was available upto mid December, which as a great price.

I fly to New York every two months and £269 is a standard price.

Try www.travelsupermarket.co.uk!

best price i found for you is dial a flight at £139...but it all depends on what time and when you're flying...the price here is for 15 oct to 22 oct...
also try, RyanAir, Easyjet, Qatar airlines....a tip is to plan your trip so that it includes a saturday (at least) because it makes the tickets cheaper. also, peak times would be when school holidays are on...otherwise, happy hunting and have a good holiday (oh just remembered Airline Network which i got off the telly) they're alright, but the best for me generally is qatar or something off dial a flight

Felidae
I use www.Expedia.co.uk as a starting point for looking for flights.

The price will vary, so if you have flexibility - look at times which are not so busy. Travelling around Xmas will also hike the price.

£269 is a good price. buy it.Bear in mind that Tax on London - JFK is over £100! In the good old days you could get there for £199 but the new fuel surcharge which is around £40.
