Try flying from Auckland to London - 26 hours - iPod saved my sanity - extra stressed because I smoke and couldn't - so iPod saved the lives of my fellow passengers as well

I regularly do a 12 hour flight. 4 hours is nothing. How do you cope during the day which is usually 12 hours. ?

Here is a list I made up:

1. Ipod/Music
2. Laptop
3. PSP/Gameboy/DS
4. You can find something to do with a cellphone
5. Press the attendant button and see how long it takes and laugh when she comes
6. Puzzles (sudoku, rubics cube etc
7. In flight movie
8. sleep (a HUGE time killer)
9. Eat (your own food+airplane)
10. Books/ newspaper/ magazine
11. Stretch you legs! Walk from one part of the airplane to another
12. Bathroom (I always wondered where the waste went....) Plus the flushing sound is WEIRD!
13. Look out the window (especially during takeoff + landing)
14. Play cards (if you are going with someone)
15.Make a list of things that you want to accomplish in life
16. Homework (if you go to school) better do it now then on a beach in the DR

This should be enough to get you through a 4 hour flight! =)

I just got back from Hong kong - that was a 15 hour flight! My suggestion is to buy a neck pillow and sleep! :)
