You're only allowed 3oz containers of liquid for carry-ons these days which is a mighty small container for a fish. Don't even try. If you show up with any container that would be comfortable for the fish, they won't let you through security which means you'd either have to miss your flight or throw her in the trash. |

I'm not a fish expert, but you are not allowed to carry any liquids more then 3 ounces in your hand luggage. So it would have to go into the luggage.
You may want to check with a fish store, they receive shipments of fish all the time and may have containers and better advise. |

I'd suggest asking a freind or neighbor to take care of your fish while your gone. you cant bring water bottles onto the planes, it would have to go into luggage, and it will die without oxygen. tryst me, just let a frend or neighbor take care of him. hope i helped! |

If you put it in a water bottle she will be dead before you get there. Fish need oxygen to go thru the water. |

will its worth a try i dont think that u will have to toss her in the trash but just to be on the safe side i would call the airport and ask if it would be ok if u broght ur fish in a small contaner with a lid so that it dose nto spill and they will tell u what u can do and if they say u can i would get a water bottle and carrie it on any ways just make shore its not see thou and just keep it open when u fly and it should be fine |

I think you gotta talk to the airline people BEFORE you get to the airport. It may fall into the same category as transporting a land pet. Some special procedure will have to be used. They can do anything for you if set up in a way as to pose no security risk. If you show up at security with that fish in a bottle, he's gonna be doin the ashcan backstroke. |

You are not allowed with liquids in your hand bag, u can ask for a 'pet transport' service. All airlines has it and they will take care of this but you'll have to pay some extra fee... |

i dont even think they would let you on the airplane with a water bottle and i don't think the fish would survive since they need oxygen. |

They sell fish in Florida right? I don't think your homebound fish will take it personally if you get yourself another fish for at school too. |

If you do that, your fish will die anyway. The best thing for your fish is to be home where she is now. don't kill her.. |
