Hey, Next week i am going on a thirteen - hour flight, i asked about it too. www.seatguru.com

You could :

1. Watch the in-flight films
2. Read a thick magazine
3. Talk to people (family etc.)
4. play on a nintendo d.s/psp
5. read a book
6. listen to an ipod/mp3 player
7. read a book
8. Sleep

Take:

1. a pillow
2. blanket
3. eye mask ( they have some cute ones in claire etc.)
4. neck roll
5. chewing gum or a hard sweet (so your ears dont pop)

When you get off you will probably feel tired and hot etc.

Why not take a small make up bag with face wipes, lip gloss, mascara, blusher, concealor etc.in. Some flights give you toothbrushes when you board the plane.

i dont know where you are going but if it somewhere hot u cud travel in shorts/bermuda pants and just take a blanket iv u get cold. If you are going somewhere colder you can travel in jeans./ joggy bottoms.

Enjoy the flight !!!

bring some music, books and magazines to occupy your time.

as far as beauty, comfort is best. 9 hours is a long time and you don't want to be uncomfortable. wear a cute jogging suit or casual pants!

also, i always recommend bringing gum. chewing gum can help keep your ears from popping from the pressure!

Make sure you drink plenty of water, regularly stretch your legs (go for a walk around the plane), take an ipod or mp3 player to listen to music, buy some magazines, watch in-flight movies, maybe take a card game?, read a book, use a gaming system like nintendo ds.
As for beauty, take some deodorant, make-up, maybe take a flannel? (i do that... i wet it in the bathroom and freshen yourself up a bit)

i hope this helps...

Wear something loose and comfortable (not jeans) and shoes that you can slip on and off easily. Don't drink alcohol or fizzy drinks, but lots of other drinks. Wear flight socks, as you are at risk of DVT on a long haul flight, also do the feet and leg exercises recommended in the flight magazine. Don't take sleeping pills or similar meds. Get up and walk around the cabin at least once an hour.
Don't wear make up on the flight and ensure you apply moistuizer whenever your skin feels dry.
If you wear contact lenses don't use them during the flight, your eyes will get really dry and sore.
Read a book, watch the film - unfortunately you will get bored.
