only after take off when the plane is in cruise,they must be turned off again for approach and landing.no pics of the flight deck or crew is permitted |

Yes. But there are certain restrictions. You are not permitted to use the camera during take-off and landing. |

Yes, it is allowed. And believe it or not, you can get great pictures as long as it is daytime. Night pictures won't be very good--just black. Also, no flash or it will make a big white spot on the image when it bounces off the window.
Dude, learn to spell. There is no "o" in "airplane" and "aloud" is about volume. "Allowed" is for 'can I do this?'. |

It all depends when i went on an aeroplane we werent allowed whilst teh plane was taking off but once in teh air yuu should be allowed yuu might wanna check though because it may be different.

Yes. While in flight, any electronic devise that does not transmit is ok. |

I would check with the airline as taking of photos could be classed as a security risk. |

oh yeah you can use it. Ive always brought mine in my carry on because ive seen how the ground crew treats the luggage. I always get a window seat to take pictures and ive never been told to put it away. It doesnt hold a transmitting frequency so its perfectly fine, just try not to use the flash a whole lot for respect to your fellow passengers |

Usually they tell you to turn off all electronics.
Plus with higher security, you probably won't be able to carry on a camera. Taking pictures of bridges is illegal, so I think planes would be the same, to prevent "terrorists" from knowing what our large transportation structures are like. |
