Not allowed BUT
Qantas (airline in Australia) are trialing a new system on all of their Boeing 767 aircraft. Even though it is only for people with PDA's, they can send and recieve text messages but they cant make calls.
For more, go to the Qantas site....it doesnt take long to find the page but they havent ruled out a trail on making phone calls! |

Not allowed. See Wikipedia article at link, which has references to US legal structures. There a similar regulations in place in other countries. |

no. u wont get any signal up there anyway. u can use it before you take off and after you land on the plane. they wont let you use it once in the air. |
