Wear cotton knit pants and top. Do not wear polyester or nylon hose and heels. In case of fire, polyester will melt. Wear comfortable shoes. Your clothing should not be tight. |

Something comfortable, like a jogging suite. Wear a short sleeved shirt under the jacket so if it gets too warm or too cool you can adjust your clothing. Slip on shoes so you can easily slide the on or off to relax. |

If you are flying non-rev, then the airlines dress code. If you are just flying for pleasure, I'd wear some Pj's. Might as well be as comfortable as possible in the most uncomfortable seats in the entire world. |

Wear lose, comfortable (if possible, cotton) clothings.
A sweater will do just good in a long flight to help you keep warm enough.
No sport shoes, ever. |

Jeans or dorm pants. Short sleeve T-shirt material top(not tight fitting). Don't wear sandals, heels, or flip-flops. Try birkenstock boston style clogs or slip on shoes like vans insead. Bring a hoodie/jacket with a hood with you because flights can get cold. Don't wear a belt if you can help it. No stretchy or tight jeans. Wear your hair down, not up. Oh, and take an extra pair of dorm pants/pj pants and a t-shirt with you in your carry on in case the turbulance gets pretty bad and your soda in the little plastic cup bounces right off your tray and into your lap(I know from experience on a transcontinental flight and I was so glad I brought those extra clothes along). And make sure all your soda is gone before you land, because if you're flying Delta or United, be prepared for a rough landing in your foreign country(coming back the landing is usually not as bad ). Don't forget chewing gum so your ears don't pop. And if you're flying Delta, bring your own MP3 player and portable DVD player/laptop. They only have overhead TVs(even on transcontinental flights) and their movies/TV shows and music tend to suck. Again about Delta, they have a horrible tendency to loose your bags if you check them(particularly coming from a foreign country to atlanta and then to some city in the US(they loose them at atlanta)) so do as much carry on as you can. Feel free to e-mail me if you want any more tips. |
