few men been arrested and security is tight,it actually would be very safe to fly today.
They aren't letting passengers bring anything on the plane except tissues and keys.

They were going to blow up airplanes while in the air going from Britian to the US. The were going to take liquid explosives on board in hand luggage.

THe security forces have foiled a plot to blow up some aircraft. THe precautions being taken at airports are to prevent any terrorists who were not caught continuing on this awful mission of theirs and to prevent any backup terror plan involving aircraft and bombs.
Be calm and carry on life as normal otherwise the terrorists have won!

I remember walking past the Commercial Union building at 6.30pm, an hour before a bomb went off in a van parked next to the Baltic Exchange in London. When I got off the tube I heard the explosion. When I got back to my flat, I saw on TV that the CU building had all its windows smashed. The next day, I went to work but my building was closed due to damages and I had to move to a building in Aldgate. Luckily most people leave the City by 7pm. (There is a big Gherkin in place of the building I worked at, with lots of glass windows to smash)
There is nothing to be scared of. We all die someday, and statistically terrorist actions are very low on the likelihood scale of being the cause. You are more likely to be run over by a car.
