What's the cheapest way to travel to Europe from the US? |
A friend and I are traveling to Europe next summer and I'm trying to get a feel for how much the tickets will cost. We aren't looking for a specific destination, as we will be traveling. Does anyone have any reccomendations for cheapest way to get from here to there? |

yea, fly into london heithrow, from t here take a bus and fairy across to belgum or france... i dont recomend staying in france.... but that was the cheepest a few years back... that and hitch hiking is super easy! spain is difficult because of the speed limit being so high, but when you come across this, go to the on and off ramps, and the service stations. just walk up to people while they pump gas, and ask for a ride! also a good way to feel out a person. dont be afraid to not accept a ride... who cares if you offend someone!
also, if your in a dorm hostel, ask to clean for accomidation! i did for a ful year of being there, only paid for a month in total!
if your moving around alot look into the euro rail, or a car.
i also recomend seeing scotland while your in the area, edinburgh especially. (castle rock hostel)
if in ambsterdam, the flying pig hostel is a blast. |
