Ryanair. Where do I start ? They treat you like sh*t, fly the planes when they feel like it, will never compensate you for late or cancelled flights, pay their staff badly, charge high prices for low quality "refreshments" and are always trying to sell you overprices airport dross.

Air malawi. As the (old) aircraft thundered down the runway, bits started shaking off within the cabin, which did little to inspire confidence. Worst food? British World Airlines. Flying from Preveza (Greece) to Manchester, the inflight meal? An orange!! Best airline food i've ever had? Believe it or not, Ethiopian Airlines. I was expecting a Band Aid death ration and got a lovely peppered steak with all the trimmings.Mmmm, I can still taste it now! Best in general, the now sadly defunct Swissair. Brilliant. |

Easyjet have got to be the worst!!!! First time flying on a commercial airline, told the crew how nervous I was, they didn't bother coming to check to see if I was ok once during the flight, and to cap it all, on the way out of the plane when we finally reached our destination, the crew said 'see, told you there was nothing to it'!!!! How I didn't throttle him I don't know!!! Never use them again, no matter how cheap they are :( |

Worst airline is United, by far. I have seen unsanitary conditions on United Airlines flights (dried vomit in the seat pocket in front of me, overflowing toilets, and worse). I've had my luggage go missing on literally just about every United flight I've taken the past five years (and it's not once happened on any other airline - and I fly almost 100 times a year). Plus, when I file the lost luggage report at the airport, each time I'm told that my luggage was put on the next flight and it would be delivered within 24 hours, probably less. However in reality each time it takes more than 3 days, with no explanation or apology, and when I tried calling the baggage customer service number, it doesn't put me through - it says "all agents are busy, please call again later" and disconnects me without even putting me on hold.
United is not pleasant at all. One time, I was flying them from Burbank to Boston, with a connection in San Francisco. I was told BY UNITED AIRLINES to arrive one hour early at Burbank, but instead I arrived an hour and 45 minutes in advance. It took almost an hour and a half to wait in line to check my suitcase (which of course got lost - it was too big to bring on board otherwise I would have). By the time I got to the front of the line I was rudely told I missed my flight. There were 2 people in line behind me who missed the same flight because of the line. I had to wait in another line for over 2 hours again to get rebooked and I was told then (rudely) that I had to fly out of LAX instead of Burbank, and pay almost $100 to get there. Finally, after threatening to complain against the supervisor personally (which I did anyway), they gave me a $100 voucher to get to LAX but it still delayed me by several hours and cost me money and inconvenience. It was United's fault because they told me to arrive an hour in advance, when even 2 hours wouldn't have been sufficient. And it shouldn't take that long to wait in line to check a bag either. So the moral of the story is: Don't fly United.
Southwest is pretty sketchy too. Best domestic airlines are Northwest and Continental. |

Ryanair!!!!! Yes, it's cheap! But the staff are rude and non helpful. There aircraft's are dirty, and they stretch the truth where they land. Example: You book a flight London to Stockholm Ryanair shows it being Stockholm however the two airports you can pick are situated 100 km from Stockholm.

Bulgarian Airways.Very old Russian planes. The seats were like fold down deck chairs more canvas than anything else and the backs of them were not fixed in position, you could push them forward with your hands. Coming into Heathrow we were in a steep decent and the backs of the seats that were not occupied all fell forward. Smoking was allowed in the cabin and there was luggage in the aisles |

SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!!! their service is horrible, but maybe thats why their prices are so low. they tell you nonstop but there are stops sometimes, their FA's were told to be entertaining..more like annoying! i enjoy continental's service proffesional domestic or international. i flew southest twice to give them a chanace BLEH! H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E! |

When we were comming in at the airport the first stop, we were going back to las vegas, and we stopped at michigan, annd BTW I was 10 at the time. And we were comming in in united and we were really late, late enough that our plane at the stop to take us to las vegas LEFT ALREADY! So we complained at t he desk, and they stuck us on TED. It is like the worst airline ever! First they treated us like crap, no drinks always scowels when they looked at us, and we didn't even get seats together! I had to sit between two starwars fanatics, and my stepmom and brother were in the back of the plane, while I was in front! When we approached las vegas in the morning, the plane started shaking and dropping and I was really scared, and the pilot's voice came on and he sounded like a tweaker, and then, he was like, uh theres a problemo with the uh landing gears? The plane was jerking around so badly, I started to cry, and it got even worse, the plane dropped about 50 feet instantly, and I had the funny feeling in my stomach! I got really upset, and I was so glad we got off the plane alive! Thats my experience, and I will

fly TED again! |

At Jakarta airport they gave me three rates for Surabaya, to high and the same and one low. When I asked why the third was low they said 'they mix their own fuel'. But I will not expose them, so all three companies can share the throphy! |

Air Canada - my wife and I returned from Toronto several years ago after a package tour including a flight on Concorde fro New York to Toronto.
First class including the flight out on BA, the stays in New York and Toronto - but - the flight back on Air Canada was horrendous!
A dirty plane, poor service, poor food, etc. etc.
We are visiting the Rockies and Alaska in August and returning (club class as insurance) with Air Canada. Fingers crossed!!! |

xl from manchester to eygpt on 7th of june didnt get there as ten mins in the air something wrong with plane so circled for 2 half hours then landed at gatwick as be got on plane at half ten got of half twelve and not back on it till 7pm then i was ill so couldnt fly to next day and had to pay again |

BMI! I flew years ago with them from Heathrow T1 when I was about 10 and an minor with them. I got a hole load of swearing that could last me a lifetime (From the Passengers, not the cabin crew!)! I went on 20mins late, the front left door of this A321 wouldn't close so we had to travel all the way to T3. It took a hole hour to fix! By the time we got to BHD (Belfast City) we were 1 hour 40 mins late! But the worst thing was that the cabin crew told me to get off even though I was an unaccompanied minor! We got our money back, only £40?! It cost £100! |

reasons:going to kavos last year when they said that we couldnt land due to weather conditions,by this time my ears has popped(as they do)and were getting really really fkn sore,the pain was bloody unbealivable and i aske 1 of them dolly birds could i have something for my ear so the witch said 2 mins,then she didnae come back!!we had to leave corfu and head for thessilonaka(far away)to re-fuel as our fuel was running low and it took 25min there and the same back and this woman still hadnt brought me anything for my ears,by which this time i was feeling sick with the pain and was crying,finally 10 min b4 we were due to land again!!she came back with a cup of warm water and told me to sniff it, as it would help and then jst left me again everyone sitting round me looked with shock,and even asked if she was joking.thankfully it didnae ruin my holiday,and the day i got home i sent a 3 page letter of complaint(lololol)serves them bloody right! |

'Snowflake' it was part of the Star Alliance group, back home to London from Copenhagen.
We arrived early and the plane was being filled from the back, we got back seats, which just happened to be right next to the noisiest engines I've ever heard! We were sat right next to each other but had to literally shout to be heard, my ears were ringing for days after that!! |

If you know there are 4 toilets out of order on the plane, then why don't you fix the rest of them in the 2 hours the plane is on the ground refuelling for the 10 odd hour flight from Bangkok. It's not like the plane isn't going to be full of fat drunk English sex-tourists.
At least they sat me next to miss Belgium!
Also, any charter flight from Gatwick will tend to be reasonably ****. Very little leg room, air that has been recycled a few more times than it should have and the most annoying package tourists you will ever encounter. |
