What Photo ID is ok to fly with?

My gf is coming up from London to Edinburgh and she does not have a passport.

She has her provisional licence for her moterbike and student card with her picture on it. Do you think these will be ok?

Domestic flights,Photo driving licence. Done it 4 times in last 3 months.

Loopy-Lou
she should be ok with her driving licence as you only need a passport when travelling outside the UK.

that was the way it worked but i dont know if they have tightened security since. the best idea is to check with the airline

jpsq4
If your gf does not have a passport she must have a government issued picture ID if she is over the age of 18 or they will deny bording.

Hazle
She may need a birth certificate and probably her social security card...
