dont wear a track suit thats tacky, try wearing some flats, a cute cotton.jersey dress and a pashmina/shall to use as a blanket and a great accessory. Also wear a big purse to carry as much things as you can and big sunglasses.

alrighty... i'm 14 too, and have traveled every summer my entire life. and for about 23 hours too one way, so i know that comfort is the most inportant thing.

i usually wear a cotton dress, and i take a zip-up jacket with me. but a t-shirt with jeans is also good.
socks are important, and wear some slip on vans. flipflops are a bad idea cause walking in the airport isn't easy. you're feet will be sore by the time you reach your destination. vans are comfy, and you can slip them off when on the plane.
they provide you with a blanket, so if you wrap that around you, you shouldn't be too cold.
i agree-- tracksuits are tacky. like someone said, no bulky jackets.. too much to handle. anywaaay.. have fun!

hello sea well when i fly i wear something comfy like a tshirt and either jeans or cords and running shoes that are comfy have a good flight

Go with the flats (there are also safety and cleanliness issues on planes - I would never put my bare or stocking feet on theose floors - I see daily what has gone before you on them)and definitely not the track suit
comfort is a must for a long flight - but choose a kicky little outfit - make it an occasion istead of another ordinary day.
As a late "tweener", you'll be taken more seriously as well.

wear slip on shoes to make your trip through security go faster

don't wear a bulky sweatshirt or jacket, as you'll have to take it off and it won't be easy to put into your carry on bag on the plane if you get hot

Juicy couture type of track suit with hoodie and a t shirt underneath to remove your hoodie if you get too warm. and flip flops or sandals. In your bag bring a pair of socks in case your feet get cold u can curl up in comfort with your socks on & shoes off. NOW; SOME MAY SAY WHY IS SHE TELLING HER TO WEAR FLIP FLOPS? here is my reasoning :if you wear tennies and your feet get stinkie- you wont be able to take em off in comfort, your shoes will be obviously off and hard to hide somewhere --whereas the flip flops can be put aside easier. Reach in your purse grab your socks and be comfy. I wear this outfit from CA to FL all the time and ladies on the plane always say "Youre so smart!!" And I look cute,too.
