It depends on where you are flying.

If you are flying domestically, I would say Northwest because their planes have ALWAYS been on time for me, and while they have a no frills service, the flights have always been relatively comfortable.

If you are flying internationally, I would say KLM because they have the best service I have ever experienced with an airline. The flight attendants are very observant, the planes have been clean, the food is good, they have snacks in between meals in the galleys, the movie selections are among the better selections that I have seen and overall they are just an excellent airline.

Cuba Express. As long as they bolt down the lawn chairs, keep the propeller spinning on engine number 2 and hope none of the flight control cables snap it is just like that bus ride on the movie; Romancing the Stone.

It really depends on where you are flying to. Foreign carriers are more known for their service. Within the United States, Midwest Express, JetBlue (even with their fiasco on Feb. 14), Air Tran and Southwest are pretty good. The legacy carriers such as American, United, Delta all offer about the same grade of service.

Hope your flight is a pleasant one.
