What airline lets children 13teen ride alone?

I worked for an airline and most airlines will accept children as unaccompanied minors from ages 5-15 and 5-12 on some carriers. Air France accepts them as young as 4. Southwest does not accept unaccompanied minors if they have a connection. Most charge a fee of $50 each way for the escort service.

The rule for booking a minor is they can not be on the last flight or connection. Always book directly with the airline and call reservations to provide the information of who is picking them up and dropping them off. These are the ONLY 2 people who will be authorized to sign for the child.

If you would like to know more about the full procedures for unacommpanied minors, feel free to e-mail me and I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have about children flying alone. It is safe and there are some kids who log more frequent flier miles in a year than most business men and women

All of them. You need to pay a small "Unaccompanied Minor" fee. The child will be monitored at layovers, if any, and must be signed for at the final destination by someone with a photo ID that matches who the initial guardian said would be picking them up.

Most UM fees are around $50.

Southwest on straight flights...
Most airlines do for a fee...50.00 per stop...

each airline fee is different....

check with your local travelagent to get the correct amount for each airline...

You have to have parental permission if you are 13 - 18. 12 and below aren't allowed without an adult.

Nearly all airlines will as "An Unaccompanied Minor" with extra paperwork to fill out at both the departure and arrival airports.
