Cool, I'm flying out Sunday too- not to Spain though (India).
I know this might sounds weird, but you're going to get sick of the PSP and the ipod really quick. They do usually have in-flight movies, and that can keep you entertained. Conversation with the people next to you.
Also, a tip as far as the ipod is concerned- unless you have noise canceling headphones or really good sound isolating ones, you are not going to want to listen to the ipod. The noise from the jet engines will drive you nuts.
If you have any summer work, take care of that while you're on the plane. Map out what you want to do/go in Spain. Maybe even read a good book- probably will be the best for entertaining you, even if you aren't a big fan of reading. I know I'll be reading on my 20 hr flight ;)
peace out. |

Take a feather and tickle the person next to you when they fall asleep, make sure you take headphones so you don't have to pay for ones to watch the movies they give, and pack plenty of snacks, also binoculars to look outside the window because the view is amazing. Add the nintendo and Ipod and you'll be good to go. |

she is13 yr old, not 3. Do you still have to entertain her? Get some rest and get ready for the Spain.
What about card game? |

It all depends on what you consider "FUN". To me, "fun" is watching the inflight movie, reading some nice magazines especially the ones showing the country that you are visiting, looking out the window at the scenery below or as you fly higher the clouds. It is so lovely. Guess it's the nature lover in me. I would read a book, get an exciting one so you would not be bored. Your games mentioned are great too. You can play a card game with someone you are travelling with. Oh yes, I love to do word searches and crossword puzzles: these take up a lot of time esp crosswords. |

Sleep, read a good book or magazines, read a travel guid about were you are goining, sleep some more |

canceled.

You should: watch a DVD on a portable DVD player, Talk to the person next to you, talk to the flight attendants, read the brochures that you get on the plane, watch the movie they have on, sleep, gaze out the window, think about what will happen during your vacation, use laptop (no internet, and only if they let you. If they say you cant, you shouldn't), buy soda, buy water, eat food, count to 10,000,000, read a book, read a newspaper, and if possible try out your foreign language skill if you can speak a different language. |

Well than use those! I'd buy new games for my NIntendo DS and try to beat them on the ride. Unless you have a friend with a DS, then you guys can play against each other. New Super Mario Bros. is a good one. |

Very good reading material, i get bored of playing that little device.
1. A good book
2. A good magazine
3. A good newspaper
You can also deprive yourself of sleep and sleep on the plane. You can then alternate back and forth from reading, playing, and sleeping, eating. And then watch a movie, make some time to chat with others. |
