Mr.
You're more likely to die in a car accident than a plane crash. The odds are slim.

socal77
honestly, 1 in a million planes will crash a year.
besides 9 11
1 in 5 cars will crash a day.
1 outa 2 car crashes will be fatal, or injurous.

slim. flying is the safest way to travel

Maegen CA
One in a million.
Watch the day after tomorrow.

Techwing
On average, you'd have to fly twice daily for about 5000 years before you'd be involved in an airliner crash. It's a very safe form of transportation (unless TSA officials have damaged your airplane before you take off, that is).

i dont know but it only happens if like the plane loses control or it runs out of gas

The Fantastic Contraption!
I took 28 flights: turbulance was worst that happened LOL!
1 out of 450 chance of crash of emergency landing in the water.

lildude211us
You got nothing to worry about (really, you dont) especially if you are flying with an airline that is pretty well known world wide. They have rules they have to follow or else they cant fly to a certain country (like in the United States, all airlines have to meet the FAA's standards or else they cant fly here)

I think the chances are 1 in more than 5 million. There are many flights per day and every single one of them usually lands safely. The accidents are very rare.

jennyYM
Put it to you this way. you're chances of dying in an automobile crash are far greater than dying in an airplane crash.

It is a 1 in 11 million chance. Actually, flying is much safer than driving. The chance of dying in a car accident is 1 in 5000. Flying is very safe, but crashes make better newsflashes than car crashes. You should be very safe in a plane.

Fly girl
Slim. Air is the safest form of travel.

I do understand your fears though.

Me
think about it..

You drive a car most likely every day.

Most people fly in a plane only a few times a year or less.

There are more car crashes then plane crashes.

Josh T
how much do you weigh lol

cube-ism
100%, your plane is going to crash.

Does that offer you a peace of mind?

Think about it again— with your head.

Lol. 1 in a million. Dont worry. Think about how many planes have just set of and landed safely right now. thousands worldwide. :)

Dont worry. I love flying.

Read a magazine if you get worried :D x

Hmm... be careful what you pack - the 50 lb. limit per back is there for a reason.....

Brando
honest to god, you are more likely to be struck by lightning in a ditch, attacked by a shark in crowded water(low chance), or even killed by a donkey. Hope your flight goes well, remember bring gum!

Dear, if something has to happen it will happen no one can stop it. rest, flights are most safest transportation, even from a bicycle, car, or ship. Travelling by road is most dangerous.

anyways best wishes

You are safer in an airliner than you are in your own bathtub.
