What are the current airline regulations for scissors in carry on bags?

I would like to bring a craft kit for my daughter with small blunt scissors for cutting paper. Are ANY scissors currently allowable?

LJRobbie
Current TSA regulations do allow you to carry scissors, as long as they conform to the following;
Plastic or metal with blunt tips OR
Metal with a tip or blade shorter than 4 inches

Sounds like you're a terrorist! Whay do you hate so much? You will be reported to the TSA.

Don’t let a prohibited item ruin your trip. You are permitted to travel with most items, but you must put them in your luggage and check them with your airline. Certain items are prohibited from carry-on luggage for the overall security of air travelers. Prohibited items obviously include weapons, explosives, and incendiaries, but also items that are seemingly harmless and may be used as weapons like hammers, bats, or mace. You may not bring these items to security checkpoints.

Bringing a prohibited item to a security checkpoint - even accidentally - is illegal

Check the list here:

Have a safe trip.
