Watch a movie, start a vacation journal, play hand held video games, color and enjoy the flight!!

whoa
I am 11 to and i going on a airplane too!! Check if there are tv's on your plane cause i am flying jetBlue and they do!!

You can rent a DVD player at many airports for return at your destination, so movies could be an option. Reading is always good. My 10 year old likes to bring along a book, coloring sheets or blank paper and colored pencils, homework when it is applicable, hand-held video games, a deck of cards, travel puzzles, mad lib books... check ahead of time and see if the airline you are flying has in-flight entertainment. Some will offer personal movies, games and tv right in your seat, which can provide a great deal of entertainment. Don't forget to bring along some snacks - my kiddo very rarely will eat what is served on the plane :)

Try to sleep for at least part of the flight. It will be a long day and you will be excited to explore Mexico when you land; much better if you can take a nap. Don't have any Coke or Mountain Dew or other high-caffeine sodas before the trip because those make it harder to sleep. Otherwise, watch the inflight movie, bring a puzzle or a game to play (please put your PSP on mute or use a headset so others who may be trying to sleep are not bothered by the noise), or bring the Tourism guide from whatever city you will be visiting and start working on a list of sights you would like to see.

I can never sleep on an airplane, so I bring a book, magazines (Well, I'm a girl lol), my ipod (or any cd player) and snacks. How long is your flight?? Because often longer flights have TVs. Sometimes, if I get bored enough, I color lol. Atleast it passes the time! And if you have a laptop, bring it and watch a movie or play a game. And since its summer, I'm bringing my summer reading book reports (I don't know if you have summer reading) so I can get it over with.

I would recommend that you take a CD player or an MP3 player to listen to, and hand held video games such as a DS or PSP or something like that. You could take a notebook and draw pictures, play games like Hangman or Tic-Tac-Toe, or write what you look forward most to on your trip. They usually play a movie in the plane too, so you could watch that. Otherwise, you could read a book, or buy an activity book that has puzzles and fun games in it. I hope you have a safe and fun trip!
