Bring your i.d - they always come in handy when you can use them to get a student discount.

As for the trip a 2-3 hour plane trip isn't to bad you could;
watch a movie,
most planes have really good games on the entertainment system now days,
if you have an IPOD those are great,
a book?
PSP and you can bring your own games?
Depending on what time your flight is you might even sleep a bit

Also you cant have a cellphone turned on during the flight....think if it has flight mode thats ok but means no txting or calls

It's only 2-3 hours! Take your laptop and a couple of movies, you'll be fine. I usually just take a book with me on my 9 hour transatlantic flights home.

me and my class are going to Dc so i just bought a cam on ebay so here are some ideas:

~Nintendo DS
~Ipod (upload tons of (new) music, and movies)
~camera
~usually they have little DvD players that cost 50.00 but i used one when i was like 5 so yeah the price might have changed...anyway I HOPE THIS HELPS! :D

No, you don't need i.d.
The trip shouldn't be longer than 2 1/2 hours, so those three things should hold you over. What I like doing on planes is just look out the window, or sleep. You could also bring movies to play on your laptop, there's always games on your laptop, or you could read a book. Trust me, the plane ride won't seem to long.

Get an iPod touch...You can read RSS feeds, play games, listen to music, watch movies, and sooooo much more. Its worth it!

yeah i hate flying so boring, i bring my laptop and pile it full of games to play while on the plane, ipod is also good. You cant really use your cellphone or get online cause they will complain about it : (they make you turn off all cellphones while flying).

you could bring some movies and dvd player (or play them on your laptop) sometimes they offer movies if its a long flight.

If you have a DS or PSP that would pass time too... also sleeping passes time rly quick although its hard to sleep in airplane chairs.

you could read a book you like, or magazine.

but earbuds irritate your ear especially when you're on high elevation.

i think that you should bring your laptop with headphones and i would download alot of songs and shows before going and i would also bring some dvds and yes you should brinng any kind of id you have

Always good to have your ID. Can't use a Cell phone on a plane. They might show a movie on the plane. I suggest getting a couple of magazines or a puzzle magazine.

sleep. thats what i do. music gets boring after a few hrs. i would bring any type of i.d that you can possibly bring. safety
