What could airlines offer you to make air travel less of a pain in the butt?

More predictable lines at check-in that account for high traffic and low traffic times- half my flights, I waltz right up to a worker- the other half, I stand in line for two hours.

The same applies to getting through TSA. For once, I'd like workers there that actually know the regulations. I don't like having to explain myself thirty times (Yes, sir, it really is a bottle of eye drops.)

^Stop randomly selecting me to get a good old pat down and wanding. It stopped being 'random' when it started happening every single time I flew.

Quitting with the Marathon Terminal would be nice- Hi, I cannot run to my connection on the other side of the airport in five minutes. There needs to be WAY more liberal use of moving walkways and/or carts.

More organized meal service on flights would be nice- for the same four hour flight, I sometimes end up with a bag of peanuts, I sometimes end up with a fruit and cheese platter.

More honest information about flight delays is always appreciated- if you know that a repair is going to take ten or twelve hours, stop informing me it's only going to be a 'half hour more' every half hour- I'd much rather appreciate being given the chance to go back to my hotel and relax.

Some airlines: jesus, bigger seats. My butt just 'aint that small, folks.

Some airlines: bigger toilets. Again, my butt just 'aint that small. I hate having to do a heroic stretch just to get into the toilet.

Some airlines: leg room. Somehow, I manage to get 8 feet worth of leg room in thai airways first class, but hardly 2 in american or united- and both share, give or take, the same overpricing. I seriously do not enjoy jumping over fellow passengers, nor being cramped into my own seat.

This is a blind traveler pet-peeve: Please teach your employees that disabled passengers are neither cute, inspirational, nor lost. Many of us are business travelers who are extremely experienced fliers, so stop baby talking to us, stop insisting we pre-board, and generally, leave us alone unless we ask your help. there's such a thing as being too helpful.

laptops with YA for every seat on the plane and uh.....pillows for our sore bottoms (too much YA....*** hurts!)

More legroom and more comfortable seats that recline so one can actually sleep.

Bigger seats, more leg room, pillows, warm moist towels right before landing, better size portion food, double travel miles for your next trip, packages that include transfers. I think that's about all they could do. Oh, I forgot, Cold Ezzes so you don't get everyone else's illnesses.
Now that was a fun question! Thanks for thinking of it. I'm going away w/ husband next month and I think I will bring the list to my air carrier!!!

I am definitely going to say that they need to reconstruct their bathrooms, so that one actually has enough room to maneuver in there!! It is always such a pain in the butt, no pun intended, to try and use the bathroom comfortably in those little bitty things that they like to call bathrooms..... after all, I am a "hoverer", so I need a lot more elbow room!! :) lol
