you really only need your name and flight number info.
you don't need a piece of paper. it's in their computer.
you do need your federal or state issued ID. |

The E-ticket is the airline's way of saving money by passing the cost of ticket printing on to You.You booked online, and should have received an email to confirm Your booking-that is Your E-Ticket.
The online confirmation email will have a reference code. You only need to present this code and Your current,Valid, photo ID or Passport, when You check in.It's useful to have the printout with your flight details on it with You so You get to the airport on time. |

The only thing you'll really need when you go to the ticket counter at the airport is the name of the airline, your flight number, an identification that show who you are (passport, driver's license) and the credit card with which you charged your ticket to when you bought it on line. The agent will be able to print out your boarding pass and your luggage tags there.
When you bought your ticket, the confirmation e-mail should also list a file locator number. With that the agent can get to your file much quicker but it's not absolutely necessary.
Even if you forget your flight number but know the departure the and the destination, the agent can still look you up
Many airlines will let you select your seat and print out your own boarding pass at home within 24 hours before your flight time. Just log on your airline's website and enter your record (or file) locator number. |

All you need to do is print your receipt off and make sure you have your booking reference number, this is all you need. We do this all the time.
Plus your passport of course. You DO NOT need card details or pin numbers as someone suggests. We fly with Easy Jet all the time. They use the electronic means. |

if your ticket booking matches the name on your passport exactly and you have your flight no. it should be ok. There is also a printed ref. no and ticket number which might be useful if there`s a mix up. Payment details and prices and flight times etc are not important at all..
BON VOYAGE! |

You don't need any paper with you when you check in, just have a government issued photo id, such as a drivers license or passport. Know your Record Locator for you reservation, or the flight number your booked on. The airport agents do not need to see your paperwork.. Just your ID, and they will give you a boarding pass at check in! |

Sorry this is a long answer but I'm trying to make it clear and a terse reply could mislead you.
The first page of the mass of printout will give your flight itinerary and a reference or booking number. If in doubt take the pages with you to the airport. (see below about passport).
At the airport you must have the reference (booking) number and the same credit card which you used to pay for the booking. This must also usually be accompanied by the card owner because you'll need the PIN.
When you present this at the electronic check in machine you will be given your boarding card.
Note that if you have booked for more than one person the person paying (who made the e-booking) must use the machine first and your companions afterwards.
When you have your boarding cards you must then go to the airline fast baggage drop to check in your hold luggage.
REMEMBER TO READ THE AIRLINE NOTES ABOUT WHAT YOU'RE ALLOWED TO TAKE ON AS CABIN BAGGAGE BEFORE YOU PACK YOUR BAGS. It can be embarrassing and annoying to people behind you if you have to discard something at security check.
Also, please make sure that your passport is on your person at all times. You'd be amazed at the number of people who turn up at airports with no passport, or an out of date one, or have packed it their hold suitcase and don't discover it until too late.
There are usually airline people nearby who will help if you get stuck. |

There will be one sheet of paper amongst all of them giving details of the passenger (s), the flight details and most importantly a reference number. You will need these details, your passport and quite possibly the credit/debit card you used when making the booking. |

It's a ticket confirming your booking that you print off at home and looks kind of like an e-mail. It ststes your flight number, flying from & 2 and who is flying etc. When we flew to Hawaii via LA I had forgotten ours and they still boarded us with no problems. (I would take them just in case though!!!) |

Take printed receipt by all means, but all you really need is your passport, that's all they ask for usually, Best of Luck |
