Bring an MP3 with a video option and put on some good shows and movies and/or music. And pray you dont get sat next to an infant who feels your arm up for a good 4 hours.

When i feel all pent up, i just tighten alllll my muscles and then relax. There's this rush of (relaxment?) when you release. Then i twist sideways to loosen them backbone muscles
twist ankles
take a walk down the isle

hopefully your long flight will have entertainment options like a personal tv/inflight movie, music. If you have your laptop you could play games, if you're a sudoku fanatic you'd be captivated with your little sudoku device, read those inflight magz, browse through those duty-free inflight shopping items you wish you could have, ......etc.

i'd say sleeping will keep you off the edge.

Get a good book and read! Also, magazines and your iPod should be great with some relaxing music. If anything, you can talk to people you are traveling with, or watch the movie the flight is playing. Also, you can bring your own DVD player (those small ones) and watch some of your own movies. Sleep... but don't ever NOT sleep before a flight, seriously, it can lead to disaster (experience - didn't sleep or eat before a flight in January and felt HORRIBLE the entire time). So get a good nights sleep and eat breakfast before you board that flight!

Have a great time!!

Meet some guys/ girls

Magazines

Crazy / Beautiful
Have a couple drinks to relax if you are of age. Bring a good book or buy some magazines that look interesting. If you have a laptop or portable DVD player, bring a good movie to watch. And if all else fails, bring some over the counter sleeping medication and try to catch up on some z's.
