What do you get at an airport?

Like, what do u buy there that you bring on the plane with you? For me, it's a magazine, a newspaper, a redbull, and chewing gum.

I try to steer away from buying anything at airports, just about everything has an inflated price. But if when I do have to buy something there, I usually just buy something to drink. Unless I'm at Indianapolis International, they have an ipod accessory vending machine in the terminal lol

I generally bring everything I'll want on the plane with me to the airport. Food costs twice as much there, and since I usually have my laptop and iPod with me when I travel, that pretty much covers it for entertainment (plus I usually have homework to do on the flight anyway). I take an empty water bottle and fill it after security, and if I wanted soda or anything they have it for free on the plane so I'm not about to pay for it in the airport.

But when I fly out of Portland, I usually buy these wine-flavored gummy candies from a store there that are really good, and I've never seen them anywhere but the airport. That's the only thing I always buy at the airport though.

soccerknocker199
i dont normally buy anything but if i do it is normally gum because there is food on the plane

fatdadslim
the daily newspaper and lollies to suck on.

I will sometimes pick up a magazine. If I'm on a layover I usually get a snack and a bottle of water.

FYI--HNL (Honolulu) doesn't sell gum anywhere in the airport. They had too much of an issue with people spitting it out so they quit selling it all together. I found this out after my friend's kids chewed all my gum and I was trying to buy some before boarding the plane.

magazine. sandwich.

a lot of flights have no food. Sometimes I buy fast food at the airport to bring on board. If there is a decent food court, the prices are not too dear.
