I've never had a bad experience on American. I don't think they are the best but they've always been one of my favorites. One time I was with my mom and brother and our inbound flight was delayed, we were about to miss our connection and they came looking for us and took us outside and drove us across the airport straight to the plane so we wouldn't miss it. |

They are good. The flight attendants are really nice. It was nice having priority Access. Both ways I got to check my luagge in for free witch was nice. Didn't have to pay for soda. |

i went on them for an eight hour flight. They were ok,
Bad Points : My tv was broken
They gave me beef, when i told them i can't eat beef
i had been allocated exactly the same seat as somebody else
the flight was 2 hours delayed
Good points: My tv was fixed
They let me switch meal

For long, non-stop flights they're as good (or bad) as any airline. But if you have to connect to an American Eagle to get to your destination, they're horrible. Flights get cancelled for no reason; flights are delayed (for no discernible reason like the weather); there's usually no food served (even to buy); baggage may or may not get there, and the flights are uncomfortable. |

Old planes, hideous flight attendants, unhelpful staff, inconvenient connection times, poorly designed hubs, awful food, cramped seating in all classes, not worth the money. |
