I did this several times and one of the things that helped was a quick trip to the discount store where I bought several small inexpensive toys he'd never seen before and put them in the carry-on bag I packed for him to be brought out whenever he got too antsy. I also made sure he had coloring books and crayons, snacks, storybooks, and his favorite small stuffed animal. One thing my son loved was a $5 calculator I bought at the grocery story with a big display. Toddlers love to push buttons. Have a great trip! |

Bring plenty of snacks, puzzles and games with you on your trip...play hand games. My kids loved Where's Waldo books, where you try to find all the items listed.Get a sock puppet and play with your child. I entertained my toddlers for 6 hours on a plane this way.
LOL Don't be afraid if people look at you like you've lost your last brain cell...travelling with kids can be fun, educational for both of you. |

With my kids I make sure I bring their favorite stuffed animal, a coloring book (I prefer the Crayola Color Wonder Coloring books and markers). A few snacks, and in case all of the above fails I have downloaded a few cartoon shows into my ipod. |

Take plenty of snacks and quiet things to do. They can not get up and run around on the plane and nobody wants to hear them screaming! |

I bring crayons and coloring books and a few books to read aloud. Or even just a portable dvd player and some movies. Happy New Year!!! |

I never had a problem with that, I would bring toy's ,snacks, most of my flights were 10 hours + flying from over seas. Never had a problem having to entertain them to be honest. |

Good pregunta ('question' in Spanish). Bring some toys or his/her favorite book. Maybe he'll/she'll just sleep the entire plane ride. |

I'd get them sleepy (Making it a late night flight or making him not have a lot of sleep the night before) so they fall asleep on the plane and you have no problems. Otherwise get them a new toy to play with on the airplane or get them to do a project, play a game, or watch a movie. |

I open the carry-on bag and let them have a little fresh air. |

Lots of toys...Also I would try and keep them awake as much as possible before you fly so they can spend a majority of the time on the plane sleeping |

Keep him up the night before so he will sleep during the flight. |

generally when I had to fly with my kids when they were younger, I sedated them so they slept thru the whole flight, talk to your doctor about appropriate sedation, I used Dimetapp. |
