What do you usually wear on long airplane flights?

I wear loose fitting clothes. Wearing a sweatshirt and track pants are good. It might get chilly on the airplane and the blankets and pillows are seldom washed. As for shoes, the airlines recommend something with laces because slip-on shoes can come off if the airplane crashes. So I would say any footwear that you can easily slip off during the flight. Some people like to wear flip-flops since they make you take your shoes off at security. Also your feet will probably swell a bit on the airplane. So do not bring any shoes that you have to squeeze your feet into.

I usually wear a nice pair of Dockers or other causual non-denim pants, a tank top layered under a button up collared shirt, and comfortable casual shoes that are easy to remove for security screening. I always wear socks as my toes get cold and usually bring a shall or wrap that I can throw over my shoulders or use as a blanket if I get cold.

I HATE seeing passengers look as if they just rolled out of bed. I can understand being comfortable, but you don't need to wear flannel pants and oversized ratty t shirts to be comfortable.

Something very comfortable
stretchy pants
comfy shirt or t-shirt
warm sweatshirt (just in case its cold)
tennis shoes

this has to be answered
lots of warm, cosy, thick clothes as when you get to a high point in the sky it'll start getting really cold!!!

Just go for comfort.

Shoes and socks are an absolute must. If there's an emergency, your feet will get pretty cut up otherwise.

I always wear comfy long pants and keep a warm sweater with me, as the aircon can often be cold. I generally wear closed shoes and socks, but kick off my shoes for the flight. I prefer my own socks to airline socks. I also always take a travel pillow. Indispensible for a good snooze.

Comfortable trousers, a t-shirt and a jacket in case I am cold. I also wear trainers as they are practical and comfortable.

Comfy jeans, flip flops and a t-shirt. I bring a sweater and socks because I don't like to use the airline's socks and blankets
