it wont go off.
I have travelled several times with my braces and nothing happens.
They give a small allowance of metal detector for those with braces, ladys with under-wire in their bras etc and sometimes people can get through with pins in their arm or leg without it going off. |

i dont think it will beep- i went to brazil 3 days after i got my braces on so i had to go through boston security, new york security, and 2 others in brazil- the thing never beeped. i think you'll be fine, and if it does, just tell them you have braces... or flash a big smile before you walk through so they notice :) |

They use a metal detector wand on you instead if you notify them of your braces beforehand. If you don't, then they use the wand on you after you set off the metal detector arch. |

I am sure you are not the first person to walk through the metal detectors with braces.
You'll be fine, don't worry about it. Stop freaking out. |

I've flown from canada to the USA, Germany, Austria, Ukraine, and France with my braces on, and i have never had one metal detector go off. |

No, nothing happens, the 'thingy' wont beep, and if it does don't worry, just show them that you have braces and that's why it beeped. They might have to take out a metal detector, but its nothing to worry about. |

i have teeth that are just naturally strait so idk.BUT if u beep on the walk through medal detector then i think they take the ones that they hold and go up and down and when ur mouth beeps and u open ur mouth theyll probably get it. |
