Despite the common complaint that one has to virtually strip to get on a plane these days that almost never happens.

When the metal detector alarm sounds they ask you to check again to find whatever is setting off the alarm. It is usually something like keys, coins or a cellphone. You put the offending object(s) in the bin and go through the detector again. If you can't find the problem they will use a metal detector wand to locate the item(s). If it is something that cannot be removed (like metal studs/rivets in clothing), you get a hand-search/pat-down.

It is annoying and inconvenient, but not as bad as most people (including me ) complain.

They rarely strip search you. They just bring to the side and pat you down. Then scan you with a personal metal detector. Its not like the movies don't worry.

First, tehy will ask you fully empty your pockets and ask if you have any metal anywhere (like a belt buckle).

They sweep the wands around you to see if they can find the source of the excess metal.

If there is still a question as to what you may have, at that point, they ask you out of the line for a more thorough search, elsewhere

I f it is only the metal detector they us a hand held then if suspicious they do a pat down

if there is still no satisfaction then strip to under wear

still suspicious to hospital for a scan

and if they are still suspicious can administer to make it Pass quicker

Never been done to me been flying equivalent of about 30 times around the World on civilian Aircraft and about 10 on Military

I always leave home after checking Airport requirements and comply with them

It happens very often. They just hold you back and scan you with that metal detecting bar from top to bottom. It usually ends up being a belt or something you forgot in your pocket. It happens a lot too with stuff in your bag. Make sure you have liquids lol! All they'll do is take it. Bastards took my energy drink -_-

if you take off everything and the metal detector still goes off or get thoes underwear off. where do you keep the metal?

all they to when the metal detector gos off you have to take everything that would make it go off in a little bucket. and if it still gos off then they use a wand metal detector to pin point the spot.

Nah, strip searching is just a term. And they only do it if the scanner found something and you cant figure out what it is. So just try not to wear metal, to avoid the problem.

only strip search if you are pretty and sexy... but other than that you dont look near that... even if you have weed down there... they will not strip search..
