G'day hun, well im in sorta same vote, i have a guy i love want me to move to florida, (as u can tell im aussie...lol...) and i wanna go so bad, but am petrified to fly!, i never been on a plane, let alone the 14 or so hrs i will have to travel, driving to Sydney to the airport is the easy bit...lol...its the whole clostraphobic, scared of heights thing that worries me, my b/f has told me ways to help, like just be so tired u sleep most of the way, but its not that easy, if i was u hun, go on ur trip, be brave, ur fear is just putting doubts in ur head, dont let it, im just gunna get on that plane and go cos i know whats at the end of the journey for me is gunna be the most beautiful, rewarding, loving life i ever dreamed of, and bein scared is gunna be the least of my worries, just take deep breath and do it hun, u wont regret it and once ur off, u wont look back... good luck, bon voyage and tc, if u do it i'll do it...ok?...DEAL!!! : ) |

i am scared **** less of flying, but when my husband was stationed overseas, i got on that plane and cried and worried the whole time. and now i really dont wanna get back on a plane. but in a yr, i will have to do so, to get back home |

I had been where you are at!! I had always had that "fear", I told my husband that if I ever get on a plane, it would have to be Hawaii!!
Guess what???? I have been to Honolulu, Hi five times!! Never had any problems at all on the planes!!
