just get a book or a labtop so you can watch movies or something, after your in the air you will be able to use electronics so get something to entertain you. You should also bring small snacks since the airplanes now a days dont give any. |

You mean without a guardian?
It is fun. You will feel grown up but soon realize why 18 is well, 18. Bring stuff to do. Maybe even a deck of cards, you will probably be able to fin someone who will play you for a little while. But you will get bored! PPl will wanna talk to you, but keep it small talk. There will probably be a flight attendant assigned to just make sure you are ok. Ask if you need anything. Sometimes you will sit by a kid or another teen. They usually keep them together. It seems really scary, but the truth is, it's just like normal, but without parents. You will have fun! Hang loose, stay responsible, and really - dont worry be happy! |

Yes I can!

It's not that big of a deal once you board. I rode by myself at ages 9 and 14. Bring books to read and if you trouble with anything just ask someone in uniform. They are very helpful especially to kids |

I did it when I was sixteen and it wasn't so bad. I actually had fun. Chew gum and take a sinus pill before take off. Your ears might still pop but it will be okay once you get in the air. |

You'll be fine. You will have someone with you at all times making sure you know what you are where you need to be at all times. Once you arrive at your destination, the airline rep. will bring you out to your awaiting family/friends and then they will help you find your luggage. The plane ride itself will be uneventful and boring. They will bring you snacks and something to drink and check in on you a few times during the flight. There is nothing at all to worry about-- enjoy the trip! |
|

where is everybody?
 |
a couple of my kids did it from USA to England and they did fine. you do get accompanied and they make sure that whoever is suppose to meet you is there waiting. make an adventure out of it. take pictures or something |

it is fun, you will feel cool when you start walking around by yourself. It will be more exciting than freaky. |

They will give you a name tag, and you will be watched over by the crew. Keep your cool, and if in any doubt, ask questions. It can be a very exciting time for you, and if you relax, you will realize how wonderful it is that you can navigate the world, if you so desire.
Flying is a fun thing, if you focus on good things, and not on what might happen. It can be exhausting, and the crews aren't always the friendliest, but just realize they are dealing with a lot of demands upon them. Take lots of things to do on the plane, such as sudoko puzzles, games, or whatever you like to do. If it is a long flight, watch the movie or listen to the radio, but also sleep when others sleep. Don't force yourself to stay awake.
Keep relaxed and don't panic. Hopefully you will have a straight flight. Then you won't have to change planes. If you have to change planes, someone will help you do that. Again, just stay cool and don't be afraid to ask for help.
The lift off can be frightening, or exciting, depending on how you look at it. All of the noises are just the plane lifting the wheels, etc. and then peace comes. Then, as they land, more noise as the landing gear comes down. Then, you are on the ground, buckled up until you are told to unbuckle. Then, the rush to get the luggage. You will be escorted sometimes; if not, just ask and find the baggage pick up area, follow the crowd, get your luggage, go through the custom doors, and be greeted by your loved ones. It is fun, exciting, and a great way to travel. A bit more chaotic than years ago, but still the best way to get from Point A to Point B. STAY RELAXED IS THE KEY WAY TO TRAVEL. Even if you were at home on your couch, things happen when people are stressed, so go with the flow. |

It's cool. Get a window seat so you can see everything from a "God's Eye" perspective.
At 40,000', the the world's problems don't look so big, and humanity looks like scratching bugs on the surface of the earth. |

Ok, it's not really a big deal. I mean it's kinda boring, but that's it. You can make friends, to make the flight pass by quickly. That's what I did. Don't be freaked, it's no big deal. |

I was 13 when I first rode on a plane - 3 hour flight from Puerto Rico to Boston. I didn't know much English then, but the airline was great, they took good care of me, I had all the undivided attention from when I got on the plane until I got off. Now a days, you have to pack light, leave most of your cosmetics at home or just ship out your cosmetics before you flight. At times you might feel lonely but take a few good books, bring your Ipod, any of your school work or your favorite music, (keep your mind busy, take some vitamins a couple of days before your flight and you should be all set. Remember that the airline attendants are there for you, do not hesitate to call on them when you need them.
Happy flight! |

It's fine - just be sure to bring things like music, snacks, and reading or puzzles to keep you occupied.
If you have questions - ask the flight attendants for help
bring gum to chew on the flight especially during takeoff and landings
relax and have fun |
|

oops!

It's fun you like it. |

It's very scarey! I'd at least have a pilot on board. |

Please rephrase your question.
Otherwise, I would say it takes much of your concentration as you must monitor all those gauges while holding on to the controls and listening to as many as three radios simultaneously. The view can be beautiful though! |
