Never flew on an airplane before? that's ok i never flew on an airplane before either until my first trip out of the country on a plane to Japan which was about 2 weeks ago and i'm 16. It feels like you're floating...i dunno but it feels cool to be up in the air for the first time i guess.

For me, nerve-racking. First you are nervous before take off but you try to relax. It's kinda cramped unless you get the 1st class. Basically like sitting on a Greyhound with little round windows and a drop down tray for food, or magazine holder on the back of the seat in front of you. The seat belts look cool and are fun to play with. The aisles are narrow. The second it moves is when nerves get going and your ears pop (get cloudy) They say chew gum on take off and landing to prevent this. Its a little bumpy and the first thing you think about is "I hope they checked the plane before takeoff. Is this swaying normal?" Then it picks up speed like when a coaster first starts to roll. It feels like you slowly lift off the ground when it is actually going pretty fast. Once the plane gets at a comfortable level then its ok; like riding on a highway with no other traffic. The occasional turns tilts you sideways a little bit. If you were relaxed, you arent anymore. You will squeeze the arm of your chair until the plane evens out. Landing...now that kinda sucks.

At least this is how it is for me lol. I'm sure some others are more comfortable.

It's cool. I hate the turbulance, and the landing.

It's scary. Gremlins have a tendancy of screwing around with the wings while you're up in the air. Watch the Twilight Zone episode that guest stars William Shatner and that will give you a good idea.

I was 26 so I shouldn't worry.

It's a bit like a very uncomfortable and noisy bus which keeps going up and down very steep hills.

I've flown only once in a big jet. The take-off feels like the upswing of a big ferris wheel. It makes your stomach drop.

I've flown only once in a 3-person airplane, too. It feels like driving in a car, then you notice you're climbing off the ground.

its awesome except for turbulance...yea thats kinda freaky especailly when the woman next to u is screaming lol...but yea ive rode planes since i was 3 and yea its a bit worrysome with the terriosts stuf but u get where u want to go fast...and first class is the best thing in the world

MaryBeth
I didn't ride on one till I was 18.
It is fun--but back then there wasn't all these terrorist threats:(

realvibezrecs
when your in the air it feels pretty much like a coach lol. you only really feel it on take off and landing. u can feel it accellerating fast and tilt but when its in the air at top speed its like a coach/train etc. i've only flown once to ibiza from uk :D

maddie(:
its awesome!!!!!!! but it scared me when da airplane was turning cuz it was almost all the way sidewayz.........i luved the landing, too!

its not sad. i grew up riding airplanes, but my husband got on an airplane for the first time when he was 28. its a little scary when there is turbulence. but other then that is smooth. taking off is fun.the airplane accelerates quickly. like a ride at a fair.

Adam F
It really isn't too big of a deal, though take-off and landing are a little exciting the first time. Its a little bit cramped inside the plane for taller people, but it is much like riding in a car, only you go faster and it costs more!

I was 26 when I took my first trip on a plane. It was short. Most of the time I spent waiting to get on, then we had to drive all the way around O'Hare. The drive (in the plane) took almost as long as the flight itself. It was uneventful. Took off, the views pretty good. Landed. Drove around a little. Parked. Got off plane.

Scary, you won't be able to take it.
