What is the best airline company to fly with?

Most experienced travelers/road warriors I talk to prefer United above all other US airlines. Qantas is always great too.

I tend to travel American a lot because it suits my primary and secondary departure airports plus most of my preferred destinations.

depends what you want. if you like pretzels and a sense of humor, then fly southwest.

In the US and A. I was most pleased with the service I received at Continental. However the actual quality of the plane is better at Delta and NWA. Avoid US Airways.

As far as America goes, I find that Midwest is the best. Since Midwest has a second hub in Kansas City, this gives me the chance to fly nonstop to many destinations without fear of losing my case during a connection. I love the extra large comfortable seats on Midwest's 717 aircraft. Even though the food is sold on the aircraft, it is worth every penny because the meals are wonderful and better than any other airline I have been on.

For Australia, I would take Qantas in a heartbeat. The crews are friendly and I found that they will cater to your needs.

i would have to say british airways for international and southwest for domestic.

they all suck anymore but DELTA is by FAR the WORST Airline EVER.. I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION

My friends fly Japan Airways & say it's great. Many years ago, United was my favorite, because of the food & the hospitality. These days, none of them float my boat.

It depends on where you want to go, where you are starting from and what route you want to take.
For me living in Asia it has to be Singapore Airlines with perhaps THIA as a second.
Then EVA, Bangkok Airlines, and perhaps Cathay Pacific.

Continually topping the international best airlines award is Singapore Airlines, SIA. You should try it to see if it justify this rating.

Nothing compares to Singapore Airlines !! Best airline in the world hands down.......Cathay Pacific tries, Emirates tries but nothing comes close to SQ.

US airlines have forgotten about service.

European carriers are ok......with Virgin Atlantic being the best there.
