The World Airline Awards site is quite interesting - thanks for sharing that link! However, I don't necessarily agree with the survey results!!

Asiana airlines (for example San Francisco to Seoul) was in my mind, one of the best flights I've been on so far. I don't understand how China Airlines made it on the list! Service is good, but not outstanding enough to merit an award.

Lufthansa business class is I think one of the worst business classes I've had the opportunity to use - Executive First, which is Air Canada's business class on long haul flights, is much better than Lufthansa's.

I quite enjoyed Super Economy on SAS, and was pleasantly surprised by BMI.

Most comfortable you asked? All stars go to Asiana Business Class on long haul flights.

If you're talking domestically within the US then probably American or Northwest. Definitely NOT United or Southwest.

In America, definitely Midwest. Their 717 aircraft are the most comfortable. The entire plane is outfitted in an all-business class configuration. The seats are extra large and have extendable headrests and footrests. The Mader's food that is for sale is some of the best food served by an airline today. If Midwest is flying where I want to go, I book with them first. After 50 flights with Midwest, I have never once had a problem at all.

I like Midwest, Qantas, American, and United for comfort.

If you want to check seat size, check "seatguru.com." It shows the legroom and width of most airlines seats.

I like All Nippon Airways for trans-Pacific and Lufthansa for trans-Atlantic.
