Best--Schipol in Amsterdam. Clean, well-equipped, easy-to-follow directions, easy access to the trains.
Worst--Helsinki. Completely confusing direction signs, crowded, cranky agents. A close second is Washington/Dulles. |

Changi airport in Singapore is my favourite, with lots of shops and I like Hong Kong as well. I don't like Sydney airport as the aiport is big, but pretty nothing in there except gates. |

Most pleasant airport would have to be probably the one in Madrid or Schippol in Amsterdam. Worst is definitely London Heathrow-- congested, dirty, and horrible. Coming in as second is the Dhaka (Bangladesh) airport. I disagree with the others about Washington Dulles. I've always found it to be extremely nice-- clean, not so congested as to be impossible, and lots of shops :) |

Best:
1- Honolulu-- It's so small and friendly, almost like an uncle's backyard with flowers or something LOL
2- Nice in France--it's friendly for a "foreign" airport in which nobody speaks English.
Worst:
1- LAX--I hate it so much I don't even like picking family up.
2- Amsterdam--Too crowded with too many connecting flights, delays and security. |

I don't like Phoenix airport because it is too spread out. San Antonio is also bad due to lack of restaurants and seating.
My favorite is Long Beach. It has an awesome restaurant and bar straight out of the '60's. It is small and easy. My next favorite is Burbank.
I agree about LAX, that's why I fly out of the other two.
But my least favorite of all time is Dulles. Security takes FOREVER. And you seriously have to walk miles and also take a bus to get to terminals. |

Yes to Berlin -- your taxi can drop you right in front of the exact gate from which you are departing because the terminal is shaped like a doughnut! A few steps to check-in, a few more steps to get to security, a few more steps to the boarding gate. Incidentally, Kansas City International has a similar layout -- and just as convenient.
Worst airport? Atlanta, hands down. It was a zoo -- packed with people, piles of unclaimed luggage everywhere, very long walks to and from gates. My checked baggage got lost for a week in Atlanta's terminal. Never, never, never again! |
