What is the best thing to do while traveling in an air plane ride 10 hours long ???

One thing you could do is pray for a safe trip to relax our mind.

Sleep especially you arrive at your destination in the morning to reduce jet lag.

You could read, play crosswords or soduko, watch in-flight movies or listen to music. If you have a laptop that has a long battery life you could probably work or play computer games. Or you could also write on your journal, write gratitude list or a life list.

And lastly walk up and down the aisle to stretch your legs.

sleep, read book, listen to you ipod, watch the movies (generally they will have several movies on at a time. All of the international flights I have been on, they were movies not out on video yet. So very fun to watch them)

If there are in flight movies watch them, if there's music listen to it (bring your own headphones to save $$). Bring a book, suduko, crosswords if you're into that. If you have a deck of cards bring them. You could play with another passenger or do solitaire. If you knit bring that. Damn, 10 hrs that's a long flight. Anything you can do to keep yourself occupied for hours that won't be boring bring it! Good luck.

bring some sleeping tablets if you're really anxious. a good book, ipod or a portable handheld game should help too.

I like to break up the flight into sections. 1st you take off. You spend the first hour or so getting settled into the flight. By this time you should be getting a meal, beverages etc. This should get you through hour two. After that you may want to get some sleep. If you're not tired, they'll probably be showing a movie. Sleep will pass more time, but if you opt with the movie, you're 3 to 4 hours in. Reading, crosswords, puzzles and writing is a great thing to pass the time.

Really try to get some sleep at this point. It'll do you good. By now maybe you're 6 hours in. Beverages or light snacks may be coming around again. Take a walk to the back of the plane. Say hi to the flight attendants. Wash your face and hands to feel refreshed. When seated, take off your shoes and really try to relax. You may just want to listen to your ipod. Music on the plane is also very good.

You may get one more light meal, but really coast the last two hours and know you'll be landing soon. It's a long flight, but you'll make it with no problem. Make yourself always fell at home.
