What is the most inexpensive travel site on the web?

I have tried so many cites. But they all list the same. Expedia I found so far is the best but does anyone know of any others.

Honestly, be careful using travel websites. Not only do they charge booking fee's but they do not offer the best schedules or connections. What ever airline you found was the cheapest on these websites, go directly to the airlines website, you'd be surprised. I always find better deals with the airlines themselves, plus you can pick your departure times better as well as connections or non-stop options if its available from your city. If you have a problem, the airlines are not responsible.

Some airlines like Southwest and Jet Blue do not participate in these travel sites. If they service your city, go directly to their websites. Travel websites are potential traps. They can lock you into the ticket like a contract and you can not make changes for any reason and the airline will not be able to touch those tickets.

I worked for an airline and I have seen more people get burned with these sites because they think these sites save you money. I find better prices with the airlines themselves most times and it is much safer to book directly with the airline.

hands down this one

What this website does is search dozens of other websites at once and bring their prices back to you so you don't have to go to them.

Example : Looking for a hotel in Las Angeles for August 20-23?

Type that date and destination in once and get results from the following websites. This is what I found

CheapTickets
Orbitz
Travelocity
Expedia
Hotels.com
WorldRes
GTA Hotels
Days Inn
Choice Hotels (Econo Lodge,Quality Inn, Comfort Inn hotels)
Travel Bound
Super 8
Red Roof Inn
Ramada
Best Western
Knights Inn
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts
Travelodge
Extended Stay America
Radisson
NWA ( Northwest Airlines)
Country Inn & Suites
Hilton
Continental Airlines Vacations
Marriott
La Quinta
Howard Johnson
Homestead Studio Suites
U.S. Airways Vacations
Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts
Hawthorn Suites
Amerisuites
Hyatt Regency

I got prices from ALL these websites with just one click of the mouse. How long would it take you to visit each of these websites one at a time?

What are the odds that you new to check everyone of these websites? It not only checks the resellers (Travelocity, Orbitz, etc...) but it checks the actual hotel websites (Radisson, Best Western, Super 8, etc...) for the best prices.

This is the exact reason why I use this website. I have booked several business trips with them and have never had a problem

It also works internationally

Edit for response to Southern (a few posts below)

When you check the best rates for Air Fare on this website it links you directly to the Airline companies website, so searching this website is exactly like searching the Airlines website. You will book directly with the airline website and not with the link above and there are no "fees" involved.

Thats what I like about this website

I like several diffrent sites depends on what I want. I use Expedia for flight and sometimes then go directly to the arline webpage to book the flight (saves the $5 fee). I like to use Hotels.com to book rooms again check agaist the Hotle website, I like to use Hotwire.com for flight if you don't mind what time of day or if you have to change planes, Southwest Airlines does not sure Expedia so chekc them out and neither does a company called Allegiant Airlines they have great rates but, only go to a select areas of the county.

Also, you can compare Expedia to orbitz.com but, Expedia is allmost always cheeper.

If you want a great vacation spot to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico the ONLY place where the drinking water is safe. Check out www.marbellasuites.com cheep room in an old world spanish Hotle rght on the beach.

Cheap air fares for Europe only

Mr. T's Pretty Cuzzin
No one source is always cheapest. Try some of these: Kayak, Mobissimo, Farechase, Sidestep, Qixo. All of them are searched with one input of cities and dates at Booking Buddy (link below).
