it's usally about quadruple or more. Only worth it under very specific conditions: travelling with somebody very hot, or you are pretty well of and $1200 - $1500 is not a big deal to you.

first class is about 20% more than regular, unless you fly jetblue, they only have 1 class

What is the difference between people who can spell and idiots like you???...

Hundreds of dollars. Go on Yahoo.Travel or one of the airline sites like 'www.nwa.com'. The longer you are able to reserve/pay your travel in advance the less the cost.

First Class offers people more personal space - more legroom, bigger seat, more recline (international First Class seats form full flat beds!. Also the meal service and drinks are included and a cut (or several cuts) above regular/economy class.

International First Class travelers have comfortable lounges at the airports with more free food and drinks. Some airlines even provide limosine transfers to and from the airports.

The difference is I can't afford a first class ticket!

For long distance it can be 2 or 3 times the price.

It varies a lot between airlines, and depending on the route.
