In a money belt under your clothing. Carry a small amount in your wallet.

Victoria
It depends on where I'm going and what I'm doing. If I'm going on vacation I normally just carry my purse like always and then when I get to my destination I use a travel pouch that I can wrap around my waist under my clothes. When my mom went to Punta Cana, she didn't take her wallet at all, she just used that and put all of her money, passport, etc in that before she walked out of the house.

Firstly, if you are not travelling on a domestic flight then you don't need to worry about customs. However, the country you are flying into might ask you to declare it - that does depend on amount.

Secondly, nobody would really carry a big chunk of cash with them?

I probably would suggest in a briefcase, locked tight. A good aluminium case, with a small, but safe padlock. Sit on the aisle, with the briefcase in the locker above you, don't sleep and make sure nobody goes up there.

Have a safe trip.

My experience is that crime during an aeroplane flight is zero. Keep it wherever you normally keep your money.

Tim
How much are you carrying? I mean if it's more than you care to put in your wallet, then I would suggest you buy one of those pouches that goes under your clothing to prevent pick-pocketing.

Square Pants
in your pockets is the safest place.. trust me..

PEACE =D

HIBACHI
Best thing to do is to stich a little pouch inside your pants/ jeans and no one will know the money is on you even if they make you strip down at the air port or the place you're going to.

trust me it happened to before. victim of profiling and I beat the system. I was down to my under wear and they didnt see the money hanging on the side of my pockets ... LOL !!!!

douglas m
If you are taking that amount I would buy a pouch to wear under your cloths, but I would take travellers cheque's and cash them when you need them because if you loose them or are stolen then you can easily
have them replaced

I WOULD THINK, IN YOUR POCKET WOULD BE A PRETTY SAFE PLACE.
