What is the worst/best airport you've been to and why?

Best :
Singapore Changi Airport... carpeted, low ceiling, easy to get around, no queues, friendly customs staff
Dubai Internatonal ... design and easy
Hong Kong ... great shopping
New Beijing Airport ... awaesome design

Worst :
Heathrow ..too crowded, noisy disorientating, rude staff and queues are way too long
Mumbai .. nothing there and inconvenient check in process
Atlanta ...too big and disgracefully rude staff
Manila ... queues too long, harrassing taxi hawkers,flights always delayed
Riyadh ... well errrmm oppressive customs, queues too long, baggage check that requires books, magazines, dvds etc to be confiscated because its "haram"

Best:

-Washington Reagan National (new, well-designed, connected to the Metro)
-Pittsburgh, Dallas, and Charlotte (just easy to make connections there, nothing special but they're just good airports)
-Amsterdam (by far the best European hub/gateway airport)

Worst:

-Washington-Dulles. Message to the airport: The 1970s called and they want their style back. The "people movers" are the stupidest, worst design I've ever heard of. Not that I'm an architect or anything, but there's nothing about that idea that could possibly be good.
-LAX, Miami, and Atlanta: Just bad airports.

Atlanta was the best, i had a foot long sub at 900 in the morning...

ok so the worst would have to be philadelphia international airport. the place wasn't that clean it smelled funny and this didn't happen to me but i saw alot of people get beeped at by airport workers driving around on buggies oh and also the employees gossip alot like little cliques. there aren't that many chocies and places to eat at. the bathroom sinks are confusing to use.

the best airport would have to be phoenix sky harbor international airport. the people are friendly and helpful. check in luggage and security goes by really fast. it is very clean. there are artsy pictures to look at. there are a variety of awsome places to eat at and little shops.

The best airport is Hong Kong because it has great shopping and has great prices and I like the way it was built. I just love it. London Heathrow but its very busy and the security is a bit too much I think.

Worst airport...New Orleans. It was just awful...falling apart, etc. (this was before the hurricane, so i don't know how it is now)

Best airport - Philadelphia....good shops, good layout

Hmmm the best airport i've been to is Dubai International Airport, it's great, they have very clean services, lots of shops and areas to sit, spacious terminals and good services from workers.

The worst i have been to is Stansted Airport, South of London. The airport is appalling and i would say it was exactly the opposite to Dubai International, dirty services e.g. toilets, cramped terminals, a small pick of shops and sitting areas.

It might just be the scale of size between the 2. But these are my views.

The best airport I have been to is the Munich, Germany airport. The airpot has the public train system underneath, a 5 star hotel attached (the Hotel Kempinski) and the most wonderful restaurants throughout the concourses. I was able to get off my flight and head directly to the train and board for my 2 hour cross-country trip to Switzerland!
The worst airport I have ever been to is the Atlanta airport. I have almost missed several flights because of the crowds.

Best: By far, I would say Amsterdam Schippol Airport- it's very clean and modern with plenty of shops and things to do. It's very well laid out and the staff are extremely courteous.

Worst: Ugh. London Heathrow, definitely. That place is hell on earth- it's messy, disorganized, and complete chaos. Plus, customer service is terrible and the staff are rude and unhelpful.

Best security, though, in my opinion, is Frankfurt- very effective, organized, and brisk- they don't make you go through too much trouble, but I felt very safe :)

Best so far..DUBAI..SHopping shopping shopping!! LOL...Stupendous raffles are regularly run here. ticket costs about 280bucks but the prizes are attractive..u could win a porsche or a ferrari!!!

the best one ive been to is the airport in singapore... it looked really cool, i think it looked really... techno lol or something, i dont really remember why i liked it so much, it was when i was young.

worst airport-detroit metro. ask anyone who has been through the southwest terminal.

best airport-heathrow (the newer areas) or vienna. you just have to be there to see how amazing they are.

best...Indianapolis International Airport...its in my hometown and I've flown out of it several time both domestic & international flights
worst...Pittsburg...flew in from London and the guys at the security check were rude...one of them emptied my carry on bag and then said "you can put your things back"...I laughed and said "no you do it, you made the mess you clean it up"...yes I really said that, I was tired from an 8 hr flight and yes he did put my things back
