What is the worst person that you could sit by in an airplane?

Personally, I think the worst people to sit by are:
1. (Not to be offensive) Overweight people who should have bought two seats but didn't. It's horrible.
2. Screaming babies. Again, I understand that travel with babies is hard. But please, give them some benadryl or something.
3. People with B.O. This is one of the absolute worst. Enough said.
4. (When you're on the side) People who keep getting up to go to the bathroom. Especially when you're sleeping and they keep waking you up to get out of their seat. I don't mean once every 2-3 hours, I mean once every ten minutes.

So annoying.

I agree. Smell. Also, noise. Some people like their music really loud, and with poor quality airline headphones, someone's loud country music becomes backround music for the entire plane.

I have flown a lot, from Texas to Australia, UK, and Canada. Worst person to sit next to, hands down is someone that is drunk.

I have two bad airplane experiences.

Once I was flying from Philadelphia to Seattle, and this guy sitting behind me kept getting in my business. I was whispering to my mom that we might be flying over lake Michigan, and the guy stuck his nose through the seat space, and in a booming voice yelled "Yeah, that's Lake Michigan down there." After that, he kept contributing to our private conversations. Every time I looked back, you could see he was looking our way. It was creepy.

Many in Europe complain that Americans are loud, but I found that Europeans can be just as loud. Lufthansa flight 412 was 9 hours from Munich to Newark, and I sat next to the 2 most annoying Swedish girls. They kept talking and laughing in loud high pitched squeals. People kept looking at them in annoyance.

An annoying passenger. I can deal with everyone else. Oh...no wait, I take that back, a mother with an infant or toddler, especially if they are crying all the way. I hate them at the stores and public too.

People that make themselves too confortable and take up all of the space you have for yourself.

1. people who stink. literally. i had an old man who smelled of rotten onions sitting next to me once. that was bad

2. yappers. people who talk incessantly.

3. preachy soapbox people.

unfortunately, ive a someone who was a combination of #2 and #3... someone who talks way too much, and and are interrogative, and are too high-and-mighty.

when you sit on an 8 hour flight cramped in an airplane seat, the last thing you want to do is have someone yapping for 8 hours

I fly tons, My worst experience was when a nasty guy sat next to me and wore a sweat suti that was tight. You could see everything as he was coming to sit in the seat next to me. It was early morning so a lot a people were sleeping. He desided it was appropriote to rub one out. He tried to talk to me but I refused and at sat facing the window the whole flight so I didn't have to look at him.

A big fat garlic eating dude who starts drinking beer 10 minutes into a 7 +hour flight..........I know.......it happened to me about 7 months ago on a flight from Boston to London!!!!!!!

Geez it was bad!!!!
I'll never forget that day as long as live......
He wreaked of garlic sweat, his breath was rancid, he got drunk real quick and was burping and farting beer and garlic the whole way!!!!.and he really was very fat and hanging over his seat!!and he was fairly rude to the flight crew while he got drunk.
The sorry dude should have had to pay for the whole row!!!.....really!!!!!!!!! why not?!?!?

I was so disgusted I asked to be moved.....of course, all the seats were full and I paid 500 bucks for 7 hours of torture!!!

Well I will be travelling to Australia via Hong Kong from Heathrow in March and I will have my daughter and 18 month old grand daughter with me, so I hope she doesent upset too many people!!! But I think fat people and smelly people are just the pits! They choose to be like that, eventually a baby will grow up!
