I used this link when I booked mine http://www.saveonbookings.com, they have an international flight search link and the prices under it are cheaper than if you search it on the front page

curious
I haven't flown international. But for flying, I truly like travelocity or yahoo best. (they go through the same engine though!)

Check the so-called discount websites like Kayak.com or sidestep.com or any of the above sites the previous answer listed to get an idea of the costs and which airlines fly to where you are going. Then check the website of the airline you're interested in, if you can get the same fare or lower, book it directly with the airline. It will be much easier to make changes if necessary and you won't have to go through a third party should you have any problems, plus I usually find a much better selection of flights and often better prices on the individual airline websites. Good luck.

Go Gators
Our last two trips to Paris, we used expedia.com. They did the flights and hotels. We are extremely satisfied with the service we received. Last year we flew on NorthWest Airlines and I got so sick that I had to be admitted to the hospital. We had to delay our return flight by 24 hours and they did not charge us one cent! I was stunned. Also, the medical care I received in Paris was fantastic and I paid like $150 total. Hospital, IVs, other supplies AND doctor!

Confused women
When I booked my airplane internationally, I was looking for things very specifice, i wanted just either non-stop or just 1 stop in the USA, this costs extra, if you dont know. But i went on all the websites I could get my hands on and finally I found the cheapest suprisingly at expedia.com, but I checked Delta, and all others, and Delta.com was charging $2000 for their airfare, and I am going with delta for a lot cheaper now on expedia....

oceanwave
try "Ocean 2 Ocean Travel"

http://www.ocean2oceantravel.com

Or try one of the airlines directly

Real Magic
I'd recommend you try the airlines' own official sites. Safest way. ☼
