What should I bring onto the Plane? |
I am 5 months pregnant, I know wrong section but still no one answers my question on that topic. So I am 5 months pregnant what should I take on the plane with me? Anything special. The plane ride will be about 6-8 hours or something like that and 2 stops in between. What should I bring? |

Here are some quick tips for you :
* Be aware of dehydration on airplanes, which can be worse when you’re pregnant , so make sure you have plenty of water with you, and avoid caffeine and alcohol.
* Pack vitamin-rich fresh fruit such as grapes, plums, oranges or dried apricots.
* Wear support hose and shoes with adjustable straps in case your feet swell.
* As always with flying, get up and walk around the cabin every two hours or so.
* Take an eye mask and ear plugs and wear loose, comfortable clothing.
* Rest as much as possible while in the air.
Good Luck and Take Care.

bring some snack foods - something that will be light on your stomach, probably. like saltine crackers. |

Magazines, books, snacks, change of clothes (just in case they lose your luggage or you are delayed due to weather), small bottles (less than 3 oz is allowed) of mouthwash, deoderant, hairspray, etc... Dress comfortably in loose clothing, have shoes that are easy to take off for security, and you should be fine. If you do require medication make sure you have the prescription with you. And cash, have some with you not just a credit or debit card. |

Liquids are not allowed inside the plane. Except for certain medicines that theyallow for patients that needed them badly. I think it's better that you consult a doctor before flying so that she/he can give you medicines that can help you during the long flight. Try not to stress yourself sitting all the time inside the plane by ocassionally standing up, going to the comfort room, etc. Bring tablets/capsules for that is safe to take(again, ask your doctor about it). Take care and enjoy the trip! =) |

What I would do is first get a check up with my doctor before I flew to make sure that it is OK for me to fly that long flight and ask him/her what all I can take for the long flight. Then I would pack a small bag that would have one change of clothes, bathroom stuff that is less than 3.4 oz. (see the web site below). Take a book, or a DVD player for you to watch, even a laptop. On your shoes, I would make sure that they are comfortable and that they are easy to take on and off. Bring some snacks because you will get hungry and it is cheaper. Good Luck and don't worry you will have fun. |
