Really depends what you like to do. Electronic devices cannot be used for about the first 20 mins, and the last 20 mins of your plane ride. So keep that in mind. You might also want to check and see if they will be showing a movie (or two) during your flight. Usually, you can go to the airline's website, and find information like that. If you enjoy reading, a book or magazines are always a good idea, as there are no restrictions on when you can use them. I-Pod, MP-3 player, cd player, etc are all good choices. I like to download audio books and listen to them, reading without trying to get that teeny tiny light to aim in the right spot so I can see. I travel a lot, so I invested in a portable DVD player years ago. I watch movies during most flights, and after 2 movies, it's usually time to land. Works out really well. Some airports have a kiosk where you can rent a DVD player (they usually want a credit card number, cuz they will charge something like $500 if you don't return it), and you can rent movies as well. If that's an option, financially, it might be worth considering. Another option would be to try and sleep during the flight. Sometimes this can help a lot if you're changing time zones and extra sensitive to flip-flopping your sleep schedule. Nothing ruins a trip like being jet lagged and cranky.
Bon voyage! |

first of all have gum or candy with you because once the plane takes off your ears might get blokked and it will hurt unles if your chowing gum and chew it slowing. or if you forget your gum just move you juws up and down as if your chewing on something. either than that i think it is a pretty long ride so the plne might have a tv so you can watch movies or listen to music so don't really worry about bring anything and if they don't have any tv'v that bring an ipod with you if you have one.
( enjoy your flight) |

A lot of good suggestions here.....however, don't take nailpolish as it is flammable and an awful disruptive smell to other passengers!!!
I would suggest magazines/book...ipod,earplugs, something to keep warm in (blanket/sweater) bottle of water that u can buy after u pass through security.....I am a flight attendant and I am trying to think of the things I carry when traveling. I always have my neck pillow....it is the blow up kind that you can get at any travel store...even Target.
Have great flight. |

A good book and a portable dvd player so that you can watch movies. |

A good MP3 player is worth its weight in gold. Most will have enough music and charge to last through te flight.
Also, a good book and a spiral notebook with a pen are a good choice. A palm or DVD player if you have them. Laptop? Maybe, but they're still a little to "clumsy" to have out on a plane.
I've found that "less is more" when it comes to air travel--trust me when I say you don't want to have too much stuff, but you probably don't want to be "empty" either. |

I usually bring a really good book. the airplanes usually have a monitor installed in front of you so you can watch whatever show or movie you want. So you can always do that on the plane. and six hours will go by really fast. |
