Wear comfortable, breathable clothing. Airplane air is recirculated for the duration of the trip - you will find yourself sweating and uncomfortable if you aren't wearing the right clothing. Bring bottled water and hand/body moisturizer in your carry on if you can get it past airport security. Dehydration is a common side effect of air travel and can make a long, uncomfortable flight almost unbearable..

On the plane, get up and walk around every couple of hours to avoid blood clots and muscle spasms. And bring a variety of things to keep you occupied - good headphones for the in-flight movies (you can buy them for a buck on the plane, and believe me, they're only worth a buck!), CD's, books, crossword puzzles, etc.

Don't forget to pack a toothbrush and change of clothing in your carry on bag. You may make it to your destination on time, but there is no guarantee your luggage will follow...

Most long flights have meals and movies. Also, you could bring an ipod, a book. Plus there's always sleep!

well wen u go on a plane they usually have little tv sets for everyone where u can watch movies,play games,chat,sms,call people,listen to music, find out about the place u are about to go, and u can check where u are ,what weather it is how many miles uve traveled,ect. if u get tired of that u can either get some snacks to eat ir walk around the plane. take a book with u or a psp. u can also go to sleep since ull get so tired. Other than that u will have a nice trip and time will go by fast!

I can't sleep on flights, no matter how long. I always get bored because you can only watch so many movies, play so many games, and read so much. But that's pretty much all there is to do. If you can sleep great. Otherwise, buy a little DVD play or bring a laptop (with extra batteries) to watch movies either in addition to those shown on the flight or instead of. Bring a magazine and a book and a gameboy. Also, if you need to work or have homework to do, that may be the time to do it. Then you don't have to worry about it for the rest of your vacation. Have a good trip!

Bring a book of games like crossword puzzles. Bring cards. Bring a laptop. Bring knitting. Bring writing paper and write a song or a novel.

let see 21 hours. when you take off they might offere a snack, you have iPods,laptops, blackberries,reading,ask the FA's for a snack, if your airlines has it, play the games in the little screen, watch the camera view of the plane flying over water

Sometimes on long flights, I bring stationary and write hand written notes to friends or family that I've not talked to in a long time. Stationary doesn't take up too much room in your hand luggage. Plus it is so rare these days to get a hand written note that when I do, it's almost a treasure.
