Hi
I fly regularly from Manchester - depends on where you are going - I would give yourself at least 2 hours to get through all of the security etc thatis now present.
maybe overkill - but it's not worth taking the risk of missing the flight

I am flying to America in two weeks from Manchester and intend checking in at least three hours before my flight.

Went to Tenerife in April from Manchester, turned up more than two hours before the flight and waited one and three quarter hours in a queue of nearly three hundred people because MY Travel had only two check in operators on duty at 06.30 in the morning. We had to run to the gate!!!
I was most annoyed as I had booked executive lounge which I never got to use!!!

So, the moral of the story ...........leave plenty of time to book in, get yourself settled etc........better being too early than too late!!!

International flights about 2 hours, internal flights about an hour so that 18.30 or 1930

If you are going on a Long haul flight say to Australia or the Far East Make your Check in time 3 Hours before, but with all the security checks that you have now make it longer, and take some reading material, and allow for heavy traffic on the roads that will hold you up
