Go through to the departure lounge. Have a wander around the duty free shops...try some of the perfumes....have a coffee....maybe a bite to eat, but try not to sit around for too long...remember you're going to be sitting for a few hours on the flight!! Oh, and remember, some airports are now 'silent'', and no longer actually call flights when they are due to board....so if you're flying from one of these airports, remember to watch the screens for information!! Have a good flight, and a great holiday!!

Whatever you want, just dont leave the airport, we have done that once and held up the whole plane. The duty free is very good for bargains and if your like me, loves to shop, then that is a good idea! :-)

Your iPod is your friend. Or a good book. Or Scrabble.

Depends what part of the world you are ,some have Hairdressers , Beauty parlours , Internet , TV, Plane spotting areas , Cafes , Shops , Bars and if you dont fancy any of that sleep.

ascoile
You go to the departure lounge and wait to be called onto the plane.

Neil
That's really up to you. Do you WANT to shop? Did you forget to bring something? Are you hungry?

There are of course other possibilities. You could read. Listen to music. Watch people. Watch airplanes. Whine about being bored. Get plastered in the airport bar. Take a brisk walk around the terminal...

There are so many things you could do especially when your with your family and all your stuff!!! Also when you come to a situation like that you should plan before know what to do just in case...

LondonGuy
Take a portable DVD player and watch a comedy movie. It always makes time pass quickly. Play computer games

You can shop, eat, drink and just sit and wait - that is all you can do!! Get a good magazine or book.

Well it really depends how long.

Often times by the time you check-in, get through security, and get to your gate, you wont be too long from first boarding. If you find yourself one of those many people that get to the airport insanley early, then your best option is to grab a bit to eat. Most airports have family orieted restaurants where you can all sit down and relax for a while. Thats probably your best option.

All 3. Go and have a look round duty free. Spray on all the perfumes buy a magazine or something. Then it's just a matter of waiting :)
