There are quite a few over the counter medications you can take that will help you sleep on the flight. I usually use Dramamine. Take your Ipod, and get settled in as soon as you board. Although you can't turn your Ipod on until you've taken off, you can put your headphones in. Close your eyes, and after the plane levels off to it's traveling altitude, turn your Ipod on - the music should help distract you and the Dramamine will make you go to sleep.
Have a good trip - the plane ride will be over before you know and and you'll be on vacation then! |

There are loads of remedies, on top of obviously tablets from the doctor:
Try to avoid heavy meals and alcohol before travelling and keep still with eyes closed while travelling.
There are many ginger or peppermint remedies. Ginger can be taken as a biscuit, tea or in crystallised form, while peppermint can be sucked as a sweet or taken as a tea.
Acupressure. This can be applied using a wristband or by pressing your finger against the middle of the inner wrist about three finger widths above the crease where the wrist joins the hand.
Play games that involve looking outside, perhaps also read a book or listen to some music to keep your mind off the actual travelling.
Hope this helps and have a nice journey! :-) .. i'm sure you'll be fine! |

You can get travel calm tablets. They work for me on ships, so hopefully they'll help you on a plane too. |

tell her that i wanna be a air hostess...how can I do that
request her to let you inside in cockpit..
ask her to get the Indian beer or a single malt drink.....

I always chew gum during take off and descent to help my ears pop. If you are traveling with someone else..bring a deck of cards on a recent flight for Detroit to LAX my bf and I killed a lot of time playing on our tray tables. Charge up your battery on your lab top or any other electronics. And don't use it all up as soon as you take off..conserve until you are going to stir crazy. Bring snacks! |

I used to suffer while flying too until someone told me to get a window seat and look out of the window as much as possible, especially whilst taking off and landing, it worked for me.
Failing that, see your doctor they can always offer you travel sick pills which really do work. |

the best ideas is travel sickness tablets or sickness wrist bands that go around your wrist and sit on the pressure point preventing you to be sick i have these and they are great for adults and kids and come in different sizes mine are adjustable so they can fit me or my kid they are reuseable you can wear them on any transport or even if you have morning sickness or any sickness ,the sickness bands are the best opton as they are cheap and you can have them for years or try taking your mind of being sick by sleeping, read a book, take a pack of cards, bring travel games i.e connect 4,monopoly,ludo etc it depends on if you are going alone or you are with kids etc as with me having my kids with me and them driving me mad i didnt have time to think of being sick, you will be fine just relax and enjoy.goodluck |

Last time I went on a plane to New York, I sat next to a small asian grandmother who got hammered on whisky and then fell asleep and wet-herself...!
9 hours of listening to her snore and smelling of piss..
Thats my tip, dont sit next to anyone with a drink / bladder problem. |
